Judith Boston Congleton Library East Cheshire is considering closing libraries for an additional 1.5 days a week in order to reduce the costs and so keep the libraries open throughout our region of Cheshire. Congleton Library will close on Fridays under this scheme. This closure will affect the u3a Poetry group who meet there on Fridays. Many of our members will have had an email from East Cheshire to this effect, with a questionnaire attached to give our views. The alternative to this scheme would be to close many of the smaller libraries in the region all together. LOCAL EVENTS Try Tennis For Free Do you want to try tennis for free?
