Connor My favorite place to go to is North Dakota, and this is a picture of my grandpa's farm. My great-grandparents immigrated from Norway and built this farm here, and my grandpa grew up there. He then built a new house after returning from the Marine Corps after the Vietnam war and marrying my grandma. There he raised my uncle and my mom. We go up there almost every summer. While my grandpa is now retired, my grandpa has dirt bikes, ATVs, and guns, so it is a place where my brother and I can do anything we've ever wanted to do. This place is a perfect getaway from the city and the busy life here in Texas.

Karynna Up until recently, I thought I would be content with staying in the United States for my whole life. I never really wanted to see anything else. However, I now have this unprecedented want to see the world and most of all France. I want to see France for its rich culture and its history.

Mariah This is a picture of Venice. There's no significant reason I want to go, it just seems like a really beautiful place.

Marie I would love to go see St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. The entire city of Rome obviously has quite a few historic landmarks, and I would enjoy seeing them all, but the view from the top of the dome in St. Peter's Basilica is something I've always wanted to see.

Olivia This tree is on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem, Israel. It is a garden full of ancient olive trees, the biggest dating back 900 years ago. However, that's beside the point. This garden is believed to be the Garden of Gethsemane in which Jesus prayed before he was captured. I would love to go there and be in the place where Jesus prayed. It would be even more amazing if I could see more places in Jerusalem, but this one especially.

Sarah Last summer I had the privilege to go on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic, which is become one of my favorite places in the world. Not only was all the landscape absolutely gorgeous, the people were a such a blessing and joy to be around. They taught everyone with kindness and love and I hope to go back again.

Jonathan I picked this picture because I’ve always wanted to take a trip to Canada. This lake is in Alberta, Canada. I want to go and take professional photos of it.

Cameron About 2 years ago we spent 2 weeks in Italy and it was just so amazing. Everything is beautiful, there is so much history., And the country is so cool.

Luke Panama City Beach I was going there basically every weekend because my family only lived an hour away from it (we lived in Alabama at the time). I have not been in 9 years and I hope to go back for a weekend.

Rylan “Cathedral of junk” Austin, Texas A beautiful winding place of little knick knacks all either welded or tied together to form a three story tall building, which you can walk up stairs of car tires to get to the top. While at first it may seem a complete mess of pure chaos, the items are in-fact arranged by color on the inside. Crutches and pieces of leftover car parts make up most of the base structure of the Cathedral, however different toys and otherwise useless junk give it its form. This Cathedral is 15 years in the making, and a legal building since 2019. You could go to the place twenty times and still find something new about the Cathedral. The Cathedral is made of purely donated items, new ones being added every day.

Zack I've wanted to visit New Zealand primarily because of the beautiful nature and variety of ocean, mountains, etc.

Zack Belize I love the ocean in Belize, being often a bright aqua blue and pretty shallow with islands scattered all around, and little beach towns on some; it was just a really cool environment. And because I really wanna skydive when I turn 18, it would be especially cool to do it over the Blue Hole in Belize.

Eliana Evolution Dance Center - Leander, Texas This photo is somewhere I have been and somewhere I want to go. It was taken seven years ago when and where I had first started dancing, at the ribbon cutting for the opening of the studio. In 2018 they moved buildings, and as of April they are closing permanently due to the Coronavirus. I would like to visit this building again to say goodbye to it and all the memories it has.

Eliya The picture below is of Campania, Italy. I chose this place because it's one of the many places I would visit if I went to Italy. If I went to Italy, I would also visit Rome, Florence, Milan, Lake Como, Venice, the Dolomite, Pompeii and many other places in Italy. I personally would love to travel the world and explore God's wonderful creations. I want to be able to experience other cultures and meet new people while trying new things. I really want to go out and learn all there is in this world. One of the ways to learn about the world is by traveling around it. I specifically chose Italy because I'm a quarter Italian so it would be pretty cool to learn about my heritage. However, I would love to explore other places in the world as well. (Italy isn't the only place I want to visit; I also want to go to Norway, the Netherlands, India, Australia, Canada, Japan, Alaska, Hawaii, Ireland, Africa, you name it and I probably want to visit it, except North Korea and China, those are big no no's- At least right now!)

VB Istanbul, Turkey - 2015 My husband, youngest daughter, and I traveled to Turkey and Greece for 10 days. This is a picture of the Blue Mosque. Built in the early 1600’s.

VB Hagia Sophia - formerly a Greek Orthodox Church, later an Ottoman imperial mosque and now a museum.

VB This is replica of the Trojan horse from Troy, now placed at the excavation site of the ancient city.

VB Excavation site of the ancient city of Ephesus. I traveled here in 1983 and then again in 2015. The amount of excavation and new marvels since my first time to visit has truly made this a wonderful place to imagine the times in 650 B.C.

VB Statue to the Virgin Mary - near Ephesus, Turkey.

VB House of Virgin Mary - near Ephesus, Turkey Catholic pilgrims visit the house based on the belief that Mary, the mother of Jesus, was taken to this stone house by Saint John and lived there for the remainder of her earthly life.

VB Acropolis - Athens, Greece Site of multiple temples starting in the 6th century B.C.

VB Parthenon - Athens, Greece First built as Temple of Athena, 447 B.C.

VB Joshua Tree National Park - near Palm Springs, California. Designated a national park in 1936. Where two deserts meet - the Mojave and the Colorado Joshua Trees - named by Mormon travelers traveling in the Mojave in the 1800’s - a type of yucca.

VB Beautiful trip to Yellowstone to take in the wildlife and geologic features - like Old Faithful. The geyser off every 90 minutes like clockwork.
