President’s Message Shanmukh Shah If I were to summarize the past 12 months since assuming the charge of our prestigious club then I have to term it as a roller coaster of a year. Beginning in the mid of fresh lockdown, coming out of it and facing hurdle of natural calamity of rains followed by facing a scare of re-emergence of pandemic. But as the proverb goes “All is well that ends well”, ending this tenure in much better space of mind than where we started.

When the my team was installed (virtually) we were in the midst of fresh lockdown and amidst thick of pandemic. Conducting entertainment program in virtual mode presents its unique challenges but despite it we came out in flying colours by creating our first event , produced and conducted in-house. Just when we thought that this shall be the new normal going forward, with Gods grace the pandemic subsided substantially and the lockdown was eventually lifted, paving way for events with physical presence.

 The main theme of our club is entertainment and the entertainment chairpersons its pillars. I would immensely thank the trio of Smt Sunita Dhoka, Smt Nirmala Kothari and Smt Parul Shah for being that very pillar of strength and entertaining us in the best possible ways.  I would like to thank Smt Harsha Lunawat for her exemplary role and discharging her responsibilities as Greeter Chairperson.  The Sports event was conducted so meticulously that both the members and their kins enjoyed the event with great enthusiasm. My appreciation and thanks to Shri Ashwin Seth for the same.

 This year’s picnic was conducted in a novel way, an overnight picnic at Star Hotel with professionals conducting the entertainment programs. This was the brainchild of Shri Arvind Kumar Bothra. Thanking him for the planning and execution of the event in such a wonderful way and shall be remembered in a long time to come.  Though this year we could not plan for an abroad trip, due to obvious reason, but Shri Basant Surana and Shri Kishan Taleda more than made it by taking us on Cordella Cruise liner and I thank them for the same.

 I thank Shri Sampatraj Bagmar and Shri Tarachand Tater for handling the hospitality during the year. I would also thank Shri Lalith Gugaliya for keeping attendance and Shri Suresh Barola for the communication.  My sincere thanks to Shri Sunil Bharakatiya for being the bridge between our club and the Heritage Galaxy as the co-ordinator and you would be happy to know that the Galaxy is expanding much quicker and setting higher benchmark.  Thanking Shri Kishore Kunkulol for his impeccable maintenance of accounts and my gratitude to Shri Vijay Singh Pincha and Shri F C Jain for their role supportive in the constitutional matters of the club.

 A friend in need is a friend indeed. I cannot go without a special mention of Shri Ganpatlal Gulecha for always being there for guidance and help, in every way possible.  My appreciation and thanks to Shri Mahaveer Chand Kothari for his efforts and hard work and conducting the affairs of the club as Secretary, to the best of his abilities.  I would thank the entire team of Committee Members for their kind cooperation and guidance throughout the year.  I would like to place my profound thanks to Shri Rajendra Surana for his role of the Returning officer and Shri Vijay Singh Pincha for being the MC of today’s AGM Shanmukh Shah

 Last but not the least, I would thank my wife Smt Parul Shah for putting all the efforts and being ever supportive to me in fulfilling and discharging my responsibilities.  I thank one and all, for showering your love and giving me the privilege of being President of this ever prestigious club in its 21st year. Secretary Report Mahaveer Kothari I Welcome you all to the 21st Annual General Meeting of the Heritage Club. I thank the Panel and all the members to appoint me as the Secretary of this prestigious club. This was not just a post offered to me where I just completed my responsibilities but also gained knowledge and experience in various fields. I was extremely blessed to have such a supportive team of 2021-2022. They were proactive in all the programmes and Executive Committee meetings.

As they say “SHOW GOES ON AND IT NEVER ENDS’’ it’s time for me to pass on the baton to the next successor, and before that I would like to thank all the members and present the Annual Report. First and foremost, I would like to thank all the Heritage family members for electing me as the Secretary and having belief in me to be here on the dais. I thank our multi-tasking President Shri Shanmukh Shah for managing the affairs of the club in a well organised manner , bringing new and innovative ideas, conducting the entertainment programme along with Chairpersons with modern techniques. He supported me in arranging the programmes and conducting the meetings throughout the year. Thank you so much for your support Shanmukhji.

My heartfelt thanks to the Committee members and Chairpersons of various fields, who were always ready to share their wisdom and expertise without which my tenure as Secretary would not have been successful. I thank our senior members and Past Presidents Shri. F C Jain, Shri. Vijay Singh Pincha, Shri. Ashok Mimani, Shri. Ashok Chhajer, Shri. Sunil Kumar Bharakatia and Shri. Pramod Gothi for their support, guidance and valuable inputs in the important affairs of the club. Over and above all, my special thanks to each and every member of the Heritage family for participating in the programs and making it successful. Your participation and feedback in WhatsApp group motivated us for next programs.

A special word for my wife Smt. Nirmala Kothari who supported and encouraged me throughout this journey in managing the affairs of the club. Finally, I wish the incoming team of 2022-2023 all the very best and I am sure that the members will continue to enjoy and it would be another beginning of a bright year. If I have committed any mistakes knowingly or unknowingly, I seek apologies from the bottom of my our heart. “SABIKO MICHHAMI DUKKDAM”. Now, I would like to present the 21 st Annual Report of our club for the year 2021-2022.

Fully Filmy !!! The first entertainment program was an Ultimate Bollywood Trivia night. This was an virtual programme wonderfully hosted by the President Shri Shanmuakh Shah and Smt Sunita Dhoka supported by the entertainment Chairpersons. This was a Quiz program on Bollywood for which answers were given in the WhatsApp groups created for this programme. Gift hampers of snacks were sent to all the members before the program. Everyone enjoyed this program which was held on 1st August 2021 and was attended by more than 63 families via Zoom App.

Choti Choti Baatein Pyare Mulakatein It was really a pyare mulakath because this was the first physical program after lifting of lockdown. All the members met after a long period due to lockdown restrictions. This was a Couple Entertainment program. The entertainment chairpersons Smt Nirmala Kothari, Smt Sunita Dhoka and Smt Parul Shah amazingly organized this event based on Games and Quiz. The event with the attendance of 114 members made the TAJ CLUB HOUSE Banquet energetic and made the date 2nd November 2021 unforgettable.

Napoleon Bonaparte This was a couple entertainment program creatively hosted by Shri Ganpath Gulecha and Shri Shanmukh Shah, ably supported by all the entertainment chairpersons. This program was based on creative games and tasks. All the members enjoyed the program which was held at Hotel Annalakshmi on 5th December 2021. A total of 121 members attended the programme. Chalo Kodaikannal !!! This year our entertainment chairpersons arranged for a short trip to KODAIKANNAL exclusively for ladies in January 2022. A group of 18 female members joined this 4 day trip with stay at MISTY COVE RESORTS. This trip created a bonding among the members and all the members enjoyed the trip, being first in its kind. We thank Smt Parul Shah and Smt Sunita Dhoka for planning an well organised trip. I hope the new team continues to arrange such ladies special trips in future.

Bollywood Kollywood Evening This family program was held at Hotel ACCORD on 8th January 2022 . This program was based on Bollywood and Kollywood theme in which games and quiz were conducted. The presence of 64 members with 16 childrens made the environment more enjoyable.

Game On !! The sports event was organised by the sports chairperson Shri. Ashwin Seth at ICF Multi Sports Stadium on 27th of February 2022. Multiple Sports games like Cricket, Badminton, Card games, Basket ball were conducted in this event .The event was followed by delicious South Indian Saapad. We also thank other members and children for supporting Shri Ashwin Seth in conducting the program. This event was attended by 87 members and 14 children, all the members and children enjoyed the event.

Entertainment Night This was a couple entertainment program held at Hotel RADISSON BLU on 13th of March 2022. This program was conducted by professional with unlimited dance, masti and music which made it a night to remember. All the members thoroughly enjoyed the masti and fun packed program. The program was attended by 103 members.

Long Tour to Mumbai !! This year our long tour chairpersons Shri . Basant Surana and Shri Kishan Taleda organized an unforgettable tour to Mumbai . The tour started on 6th April 2022 from Kochin to Mumbai in the Cordelia Cruise with a break at beautiful Lakshwadeep Islands. The tour continued to Parasio Resorts in Igatpuri and returned back to Chennai on April 12 th April 2022. A total of 22 Couples joined the tour . All the members enjoyed the activities in the Cruise and relaxed at the resort in Igatpuri, near Mumbai. We thank the long tour Chairpersons for arranging the tour in a well organized manner.

A Family Picinic Dhamaka The Picnic program for the year was arranged at Hotel Crowne Plaza Adyar on 30th April 2022 with High Tea , Dinner and overnight stay followed by Lunch next day on 1st May 2022. The programme was wonderfully arranged by the Picnic Chairperson Shri Arvind Bothra. The programs were conducted by professional on 30th evening and 1st morning which included Games, Dance and Music. This program was attended by 38 couples and 12 children. We also thank other members for helping in arranging the event.

The Final Count Down This family entertainment program was held at Hotel Raintree on 29th of May 2022. This programme was hosted by our President Shanmukh Shah amazingly and supported by the entertainment chairpersons. This program was perfect combination of modern digital techniques and entertainment. This program was attended by 102 members and 11 children.

Fhata Fhat !! On this occasion the Entertainment Chairpersons gave us an happy ending before the AGM which was presided today, 26th June 2022 at Hotel Radisson Blu.

Thank you  I would like to thank the entire team of 2021-2022 for supporting through out the year and making it successful.  I thank our Vice President Shri Shantilal Kothari for supporting and sharing valuable inputs throughout the year.  I thank our Associate Secretary Shri. Goutham Somawath for supporting throughout the year.  I would like to thank our Treasurer Shri Kishore Kunkulol managing the accounts and funds of the club effectively and efficiently.  I thank all our committee members and sub-committee Chairpersons for their support and guiding me throughout the year.

Thank you  I thank our Greeter Chairperson Smt Harsha Lunawat for sending greetings, gifts and messages to all members on their Wedding Anniversary and Birthdays regularly.  I thank our Hospitality Chairpersons Shri Sampath Bagmar and Shri Tarachand Tater for helping in arranging the programs . Special Thanks for arranging the Jain food in every programme during the year.  I thank our Co-ordinator for Heritage Galaxy Shri Sunil kumar Bharakatia for having good co-ordination and Communication between the two Clubs.  I thank Shri F C Jain for Oreintation and Shri Vijay Singh Pincha for always guiding us in the constitutional matters of the Club.

Thank you  I thank our Sports chairperson Shri Ashwin Seth, Long tour Chairperson Shri Basant Surana and Shri Kishan Taleda and Picnic Chairperson Shri Arvind Bothra for wonderfully organizing their respective Programmes.  I would also thank Shri Lalith Gugalia maintaining the attendance and Shri Suresh Barola for Communication.  Last but not the least, A Big thanks to the Entertainment Chairpersons Smt. Parul Shah, Smt. Sunita Dhoka and Smt. Nirmala Kothari for conducting the entertainment programmes in tremendous manner . I also thank Shri Ganpath Gulecha for readily hosting the programme with Shri Shanmukh Shah. They always kept the members enjoyable.

Thank you In a nutshell, we enjoyed each and every moment of this wonderful journey which was impossible without each and everyone’s support. THANK YOU ALL!!
