Citizens’ High School Accredited Diploma Programs General Studies Diploma Our nationally accredited General Studies Diploma Program offers a high school diploma for students who want to enter the job market, the military, or a community or technical college after graduation. In this program, your curriculum consists of fundamental courses that are taught at a basic high school level. You may earn an accredited high school diploma without being required to take advanced math or science courses. As long as you can read and write on an eighth grade level, you are eligible for our High School Diploma Program. Unlike regular or virtual public schools, we admit adults of any age. Graduation Requirements Students who enroll in the General Studies Diploma Program must earn a total of 16 credits, or full-year courses, in order to graduate. This could be less, if we accept credits from your current or previous accredited high school. Citizens’ High School Accredited Diploma Programs Academic Studies Diploma The key component for acceptance into college is an accredited high school diploma. As a student in our nationally accredited Academic Studies Program, you’ll prepare to meet the demands of college-level study. Our Academic Studies Program is made up of more challenging courses, including advanced math and science subjects. The program is designed for those who want to attend a four- year college or university after graduation. Sixteen credits (full-year courses) are required to graduate, including any transfer credits from your previous school. Learn at an Advanced Level The Academic Studies Program courses will prepare you for the ACT and SAT exams. We back this up by offering supplemental courses at no additional cost to you, should you fail an entrance exam within six months after graduation. This demonstrates the confidence we have in the quality of our Academic Studies Program.
