STAFFING AND RENTALS We are here to make your life easy! With hand picked servers, bartenders, and each vendor on speed dial for all of your rental or entertainment needs, The Modern Edge makes it a one-stop shop so that you don’t have to do the legwork. Staffing Servers $28.00 per hour Be it cocktail servers adding a special touch to your bar service, servers for passed hors d’oeuvres, or servers for a plated dinner, you are taken care of by our talented and professional staff. Event Captain $35.00 per hour From start to finish, your captain is there to ensure drinks are full, the room is spotless, buffets are plentiful, and that we leave your space even cleaner than we found it. Event Captains are required for events larger than 100 guests, and are sometimes found in specific venue requirements. TERMS AND CONDITIONS Food and Beverage Terms The Modern Edge will be the sole provider of all food and beverage served at its functions. If outside food is brought into any event you will be charged accordingly, based on our current menu prices. It is The Modern Edge policy that no food or beverage be taken off the premise from any banquet event. Currently a 20% production charge plus applicable sales tax is required for all food and beverage. The State of Colorado regulates the sale and service of alcoholic beverages. The Modern Edge is responsible for the administration of these regulations. It is The Modern Edge policy to serve alcoholic beverages to patrons of 21 years of age and older and will refuse service to any guest without proper identification. The Modern Edge requires a minimum of one staff bartender when alcohol is served. The Modern Edge will not provide any alcohol off premise. However we can help with the amount and kinds of liquor to be served. If the off-site venue does not have a liquor license, it is up to the client to purchase and arrange for delivery. The Modern Edge will meet the delivery and set up the bar. Rules and policies for serving alcohol may vary from location to location. For health and safety reasons, the client cannot keep leftover food. Food & Beverage Minimums The food and beverage minimum with The Modern Edge varies due to event site and number people attending the event. The minimum requirements do not include a 20% production fee and applicable tax. When guest’s counts do not exceed 15 people, an additional charge may apply for buffet meals. For every hour that goes beyond the contracted timeframe, there will be an additional $75 service fee per hour and $25 per hour per employee at event. Guarantee Please inform your event designer of the number of guests attending your event no later than 10 days prior to your event. After that a count may increase but it cannot decrease. If the guaranteed number in not provided, the estimated attendance on contract will become the guarantee. Payment Terms The Modern Edge will hold a date for 10 days without a deposit. However, a non-refundable 30% deposit is required at time of contract. Final payment and guest count is due no later than 10 days prior to the event.
