INFLUENCER MAGAZINE Born on 29th August 1967, at Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Saurabh has lived a very eventful life, where he has experienced extreme poverty and riches. At the age of 17, he found himself responsible of a sugarcane factory. As he wanted to study further, so along with handling the family business, he also kept on completing his education. He earned his Master’s Degree in English from Bareilly College, and completed his MBA from Indra Gandhi National Open University. Recently, in year 2022, he was awarded with Honorary Doctorate in Education from Boston Imperial University(USA) In 1990, he married his lovely wife and his life was filled with happiness. But life had other plans, as the government closed down the privately-owned sugarcane factories. He started his journey again, when his father gave him 1Lakh 30 Thousand Rupees (₹1,30,000) to build his life. He still recalls his days of barely saving 2 rupees a month, and luxuries of enjoying half Coca-Cola bottle with his wife. Dr. Agarwal came to understand the power of education &literacy among masses and it came to his mind that for any advancement to be possible, education is the answer. “Shikshit Bharat, Viksit Bharat” With this quote in heart, Dr. Saurabh Agarwal became the founder of a group of institution, built in 2004, the Only School that has the recognition of the Royal Scindia Family, in India and beyond. The year was a hard year for him, as he had a lot of debt on his shoulders, but he persisted and rose up to the challenge again and again and again, then finally life said, “Fine! Have it your way!” and it showed in the 3rd year , the school had a 300% profit with 450 students’ enrolment. The year after that had almost double that number, with 850 students’ enrolment. Today, After 19 years of its inception, it has cumulative strength of 4000 students and every year, out of those 4000 students, 500 students do not have to spend a single penny for their 13 INFLULENCER FEBRUARY 2023

INFLUENCER MAGAZINE Dr Madan Mohan Jha is among the most popular names of western Uttar Pradesh and Delhi-NCR, a famous General Surgeon by profession with almost a decade experience, preferring to diagnose the cases before starting surgery. He has worked in various top-notch hospitals like Ram Manohar Lohia – Delhi, Loknayak Jayprakash Narayan Hospital- Delhi, Fortis – Noida and Apollo- Indraprastha. During his residency, he participated in many national and international conferences and presented many research papers and posters. His dream was similar to a silver lining, which started when a tragedy struck his family, his father was in an accident and has fractured his femur. Fascinated by the treatment and the hope combined, turned into admiration and determination when his father stood on his own two feet, for the first time after the accident. He cleared his graduation with more than 85 % marks. As his love and incline towards Surgery made him seek admission in MS – General Surgery. During his residency at Santosh Medical College and Hospitals, He received tremendous support under the guidance of Dr Tripta S. The Association of Surgeons (ASI) is the largest surgical association in the world with more than 80k members. In India, almost every surgeon is associated with this organization. In 2022, he was awarded with Best Researcher of the Year Award by South Asia Health Submit. He has solid grasp on his knowledge and a deep understanding of medical and surgical ailments, also having published many papers in National and international Journals. His research on the topic of, “Incisional Hernia” is widely recognized and accepted. His research has opened many doors to other research which can take place further and help all growing surgeons, whenever they are planning for any anterior abdominal wall surgery or reconstruction. During his work in peripheral Hospitals in Shamli and Baraut, he has helped many poor and needy patients. Mani has been working on a project to better the literacy rate, by visiting slums and teaching the so-called ‘untouchables’ everything she can. When asked for her opinion, she said, “The most remarkable experience was the last day when we were saying goodbye to all our beloved children. If you know Indian culture you would understand this truth. Each child was standing in a line patiently waiting for his/ her turn to meet the teachers. This civilized attitude was not expected by anyone and it brought tears to our eyes. This is the power of this privileged profession. Change the world, dear teachers! One student at a time :)” She is a leader through and through, as she creates value in every aspect of life. As a coach, she wants to touch the lives of 10,00,000 + people, be they teachers or students, and help them absorb the concept of creating value in life, help and inspire them, and empower them with the life skills of communication and writing. To teach them a lesson they keep close to their hearts. By following her true calling and purpose in life, Mani wants to give it back to the world through every work she does. Today, she is authoring a series of books on education and parenting, which would not doubt, be helpful to new and old parents and teachers, helping them connect to children and children to them.
