It’s all happening in Science We welcome “Chocolate” the baby corn snake into the team donated by a parent. Chocolate is our second snake and is living in N4 with the other animals cared for Mr Burdett and the fabulous Eco Club. There are revision classes in abundance for Year 11 now so please see your teachers for details . All of Year 11 now have work booklets at home to help you with exam questions relevant to the course. Please put them to good use! The trip to CERN in Geneva was very successful with all pupils enjoying a visit to the largest physics experiment inhistory. World Challenge 2017 - Nicaragua Photographs of this years World Challenge can be found on our website. Some of the highlights included this year were: Climbing 4 volcanoes on the volcanic ring of fire, sandboarding down Cerro Negro, an active volcano, meeting Francisco one of the original Sandinistas, and talking about the revolution, digging the foundations to extend a primary school in a deprived area, climbing the roof tops overlooking Leon the city of culture, swimming in the Pacific, zip wiring through forest tree tops on Mombacho volcano, exploring the food markets in Granada and interacting with the local school children.The next expedition is to Belize in 2019 and will include a jungle trek, a community project and the opportunity to exploreMayan ruins.
