It was the best opportunity for members of Rotaract Clubs to connect personally with others • Mahadan 7.0 across Rotaract 3030, celebrate the service projects they have organized together and collaborate to find • Clothes Donation lasting solutions to issues Rotaract empathizes with, together. They do all of this together while forming ‘an unbreakable bond’. The day 1 of the event was graced by PDRR Kaushal Rutuja Thakre, President, RAC JDCOEM, Amisha Sahu and PDG Abhinandan Shetty both of whom Dhabekar, Secretary and Sergeant–At-Arms, RAC JDCOEM addressed the young members of Rotaract Clubs and and Bhushan Agashe, Editor, RAC JDCOEM and Vice-Chair, shared their experiences. Followed by the Conference, ‘Mr. & Ms. Rotacon’, a talent night was organized. Presidents and Secretaries of various Rotaract Clubs across the District exchanged their ideas regarding future projects as well as shared their feedback. Various participants were also appreciated for their amazing work. Day 3 concluded with an Award Ceremony in which Rotaract Club of JDCOEM, Nagpur won The Rising Star Award for their outstanding performance for the Session 2021-22. Bhushan Agashe, Editor, RAC JDCOEM was also recognized for his performance as Vice-Chair, PI Committee, Rotaract 3030. Amisha Dhabekar, Secretary and Sergeant–At-Arms, RAC JDCOEM and Ashwini Doke, Community Service Director, RAC JDCOEM were also in attendance and participated in the conference with zeal. Members of Central India Institute of Haematology and MAHADAN 7.0 Oncology [CIIHO] setting up for Blood Donation ELITOn 11th March 2022, members of Rotaract Club Dr. Namrata Pradnyakar, Dean, Student, JDCOEM, of JDCOEM, Nagpur, Rotaract 3030, conducted Nagpur donating blood \"Blood Donation Camp\", under the banner ‘Mahadan-7.0’ at J D College of Engineering and Management, Dist. Nagpur, Maharashtra. Mahadan 7.0 was a week-long Blood Donation Campaign in which various Rotaract Clubs in different Districts organized Blood Donation camps. Their objective was to collect significant and substantial units of blood that can be used to save someone’s life. They also aimed to break the myths surrounding Blood Donation thereby bringing about awareness in the society. The event was open to all students and faculty members of J D College of Engineering and Management, Nagpur as well as the residents of nearby villages. This event was organized in collaboration with Central India Institute of Haematology and Oncology [CIIHO], Blood & Blood Component Bank & Apheresis Unit, Dhantoli, Nagpur – 440012. Mrs. Nalini Dhoke, Ms. Prachi Raut, Ms. Rakhee Dhobre, Mr. Aziz Shiekh (Camp Manager) and Mr. Sachin Kamble from CIIHO (Blood Donation Team) helped us to conduct the camp in very organized manner. During this campaign a total 52 donors successfully donated their blood. RAC JDCOEM’s Orientation Rtn. Pritesh Chandak, President, Rotary Club of Nagpur On 7th March, 2022, Rotaract Club of JDCOEM, Ishanya addressing the members of Rotaract Club of Nagpur, Rotaract 3030, conducted \"Orientation JDCOEM, Nagpur Program\" at J D College of Engineering and Management, Dist. Nagpur, Maharashtra. The objective of the program was to educate prospective members about Rotaract membership. The Member’s Orientation provided members a broad overview of Rotaract Club, Rotary International and The Rotary Foundation, with a focus on the benefits and responsibilities of membership in the Club, including an overview of Rotaract Club’s primary projects and activities. The event was attended by Rtn. Pritesh Chandak, President, Rotary Club of Nagpur Ishanya, DRRE Sanaiel Ahmed, and ADRR Krishna Singh. All of them addressed the young members of Rotaract Club and made them aware about the impact of Rotary and Rotaract has made in the past few years. Members of various Rotaract Clubs of Rotaract 3030 also interacted with members through a Panel Discussion. This orientation provided an in-depth informational program to new members that taught them about Rotary and Rotaract. Rtr. Rutuja Thakre, President, RAC JDCOEM, and Rtr. CLOTHES DONATION On 26th March 2022, Rotaract Club of JDCOEM, Nagpur, Happy Face of the donatee after receiving Rotaract 3030, in collaboration with Student Club of clothes from our team for her and her family JDCOEM conducted a \"Clothes Donation Drive\". The members drive was conducted in association with Malhaar Foundation, Nagpur. The participants started collecting clothes from March 1st to March 22nd, where faculties, college students, rotaractors, and non-rotaractors actively participated and donated clothes to the coordinators allotted for this event. Students also donated clothes via drop boxes placed across college premises which were later collected. The members of Rotaract Club of JDCOEM, Nagpur and Student Club of JDCOEM were able to contribute to society by distributing clothes to kids and adults and helping those who can’t afford to buy clothes. During this campaign, they collected clothes that would be sufficient for around 300 people. Along with the distribution of clothes, the participants conducted a few interactive activities, played games with the children of NGO, distributed chocolates, and had a really good time with the kids which brought a wide smile to their faces.
