THE FIRMUS ENERGY BSML HEADLINES DUE TO THE CURRENT CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC AND THE REGULATIONS SET IN PLACE BY THE N.I. GOVERNMENT THE LEAGUE HAS NO OTHER CHOICE BUT TO ALIGN WITH THE CURRENT LEGISLATION BSML 50TH ANNIVERSARY BOOK Coinciding with the BSML celebrating it's 50th anniversary, the book \"From Wine League to Windsor Park\" which was published to celebrate this outstanding feat by the league is very much for sale at this moment in time.  You can purchase the book by simply making contact with The Firmus Ballymena Saturday Morning League/Facebook.com

THE FIRMUS ENERGY BSML In Adherence with government regulations the BSML wish to clarify. Statement from the Irish Football Association. “All football training and matches below elite level will be suspended as of 6pm Friday (16 October) due to further Covid-19 restrictions imposed by the Northern Ireland Executive. Elite level is categorised in Northern Ireland as matches in the men and women’s NIFL Premiership as well as international matches involving Northern Ireland representative teams and will be the only game’s allowed to take place during this period. Irish FA Foundation programmes, including Electric Ireland Shooting Stars and McDonalds Fun Football, will be postponed for the next four weeks whilst unfortunately the Nutty Krust Halloween Football Camps are now cancelled. Protocols laid out in the Irish FA’s ‘A Return to the Everyday Game’ document will be suspended and will not be applicable to grassroots football, both training and matches, during this period. Irish FA Chief Executive Officer, Patrick Nelson, said:“We note the decision from the Northern Ireland Executive. Our priority is, and has always been, the return of football, both training and matches, in a safe and responsible manner and we will continue to work with stakeholders across the game to meet that objective.” With this delayed statement, and confirmation already received from both the Mid and East Antrim and Antrim and Newtownabbey Councils that no facilities are available to our BSML football clubs for the next 4 weeks for either training or competitive matches the BSML reluctantly informs all our clubs that their respective League campaigns are suspended until further notice. The BSML Council will meet in the interim online and keep all our clubs updated as and when information regarding our return to playing football again is feasible.
