Page11 Logo Meaning It is important to us that the logo conveyed has a clean, modern, and healthy feel. The circle in the logo resembles the circle inside the Japanese flag, and a top view of the Sunjai Ainagashi seaweed cup. As the product origi- nates from Japan, we wanted to incorporate into the logo key elements in Japanese culture and make our product accessible to the international audience. The color green, characterizes the acceleration, in addition to the growth, prosperity and nature. In typography, we chose to combine the Japanese language with English to deepen the connection between the product, the world, and Japan. The English typography makes the company and its services accessible to the whole world. Also, the use of the English language is reminiscent of the orientalism that the product conveys. The Japanese typography is an acronym for Matcha rate, which conveys credibility and closeness to the source of Matcha culture. Kyoto Japan
