Practise Worksheet Practise activities: Activity 1 As a group, using the table below, record one or two reasons why this type of work makes you nervous or anxious. Then working together, create an opposing thought for each reason. This is a way to practice combatting negative thinking and helps us to stay in control mentally, so that we can focus our energy on completing voice over tasks. An example has been provided to get you started. Voice over workshop Part 4: Voice like a Pro! Practise Worksheet Activity 2 This activity is designed to help you listen to your vocal output. There are 3 simple questions below. In pairs, take turns to ask / respond to each question. To help you know your own voice, I have added a list of vocal styles – please choose a vocal style for your response and discuss it’s effectiveness with your partner. This will help you to identify your own vocal styles enabling you to be more flexible with your vocal output. Questions – choose one to ask your partner (it’s fine to repeat a question) 1. What are the ingredients in your favourite meal? 2. What is the most challenging part of your job and why? 3. What is your unpopular opinion?
