GREETINGS America began with the Gospel. The Puritans constructed chapels before building their own homes. The schools they established educated their children on how to serve God. Thus, starting from the late 18th century, America dispatched missionaries worldwide to preach the name of Jesus Christ. Now, however, doctrine and denomination divide modern American Christianity. Believers prefer to receive blessings to increase the quality of their own secular lives rather than sacrificing themselves for God or others. Our schools have prohibited the Bible. In addition, as the number of youths in our churches dwindles, they get trapped in addiction and crime. Now is the time for a change in Christian leadership. “PURSUE AND YOU SHALL RECOVER ALL” On his way to becoming king, David and all the men who followed him lost everything: their homes and their families. However, in the midst of the overwhelming despair and grief, David encouraged himself in the Lord. Then God promised, “Pursue and you shall recover all.” The enemy has stolen many things from us. Ministries have been disrupted by the pandemic as evidenced in church attendance. Thankfulness, joy, and faith towards the gospel and the word of God have been stolen from the hearts of many congregations. The heart and passion of the youth have also been taken as well, leaving many churches uncertain and insecure about their future leaders. However, in 1 Samuel, it says that David recovered all just as God promised. It was not only David who recovered everything he lost, but everyone who followed him received that same grace. CLF wants to continue to work with pastors and church leaders to encourage their ministries in the word of God. That is when they will begin to recover their youth, congregations, communities, and true purpose before God.
