1. About Saptrishi Foundation Saptrishi Foundation is a registered, non-profit organization set up to serve the underprivileged sections and last miles of the society. It strives to work with civil society, government, philanthropic institutions, and corporates to create an impact at a large scale. Registered under Societies registration and Bombay Public Trust act in 2017 and working towards the inclusion and rehabilitation of people living with disabilities, health, watershed development, and women empowerment. The aim is to empower People with Disabilities across several aspects of their life and support them to live a dignified life. In addition to this, organization is also engaged in performing dignified rituals for unknown or unclaimed human dead bodies which always face negligence. SAPTRISHI FOUNDATION

2. Vision Statement To create a fearless, equitable and just society where poor and marginalized sections live dignified life and transform people into good citizens. 3. Mission Statement To reach out to unreached, underprivileged sections of society and bring them into the mainstream by designing equitable, innovative solutions and setting up example of giving back to nature and society SAPTRISHI FOUNDATION

4. Divyang Aadhar Program It is often seen that people living with disabilities are dependent on parents, family members, or caretakers and they also face multiple challenges to access health care facilities and avail government certificates. The word ‘Aadhar’ means providing handholding support. Divyang Aadhar program provides support for people living with disabilities to avail the government certificates to access various schemes and resources. This effort is intended to make their lives better and independent. This initiatives have been taken to address the needs of the people living with disabilities. 4. Divyang Aadhar Program Under this initiative, the following activities are conducted: 1) DISABILITY CERTIFICATES AND UDID CARD: The assistance is provided for people living with Disabilities to get the disability certificate and UDID Card. The organization team submits the required forms and documents to the concerned health departments and do the follow-up with government officials till they get the disability certificate and UDID card. To get the better access of government facilities under the one roof, the organization has started centre at District( Aundh) Hospital, Sangvi, Pune. Impact: Till today, more than 1000 people have received disability certificates and UDID Card 2) ASSISTANCE TO GET THE AADHAR & PAN CARD: People living with disabilities find it difficult to get the Aadhar card as the centers are remotely located. Also the process of obtaining Aadhar card is complex and unknown to the disabled people. The organization team provides end-to- end support to get the Aadhar and PAN card for disabled people. Also, the camps are being organized to get the Aadhar and PAN card. Impact: More than 200 people received Aadhar and PAN card SAPTRISHI FOUNDATION

5. Niramaya Health Insurance Scheme Niramaya Health Insurance Scheme provides a Health Insurance card of Rs. 1 Lakh for a Person living with a disability. The disabilities covered under this scheme are Intellectual disabilities, Autism, Cerebral Palsy and Multiple Disabilities as per the national trust act. This amount is reimbursed to the beneficiaries after the treatment. The enrollment of the beneficiaries done with the help of registered organization under National trust act. Saptrishi Foundation provide assistance to the beneficiaries to avail the benefits of the insurance scheme and ensuring that no one is left behind to avail the benefits of the scheme. This is a unique model to provide assistance to the beneficiaries and it can be adopted by other organizations and government to implement across India. The foundation team provide handholding support from registration of the beneficiaries till the claims are settled. Saptrishi Foundation has developed user-friendly software which helps beneficiaries to track the status of their insurance claims and status of their health card. The organization is bridging the gap by providing end-to-end support services. SAPTRISHI FOUNDATION

5. Niramaya Health Insurance Scheme Above graph indicates that the number of beneficiaries enrolled and claims settled through the intervention of Saptrishi Foundation is much more than overall India's number of beneficiaries enrolled and claims settled. SAPTRISHI FOUNDATION

6. Health Camp for Special People The health camp for mentally challenged people living at Children’s Home, Mankhurd, Mumbai was conducted. The Physiotherapists, Neurologists, Orthopedics experts conducted the health check-up camps and necessary treatment was provided. 571 people benefited from the health check-up camp. 7. Health Camp conducted at PCMC The health camp for special children are conducted in Pimpri Chinchwad area. The Homeopathy doctors conducted the camps and required homeopathic medicines were provided to the children. 8.Divyang Document support camp Saptrishi Foundation conducted document support camps for the Divyang people on 12th Dec. 2021 About 100 beneficiaries took an active part in the camp and got benefited from the camp. The Divyang got support regarding disability certification/UDID, Pan Card, Govt Financial benefits, railway concession benefits for Divyang etc. SAPTRISHI FOUNDATION

9. Funeral of unclaimed human dead bodies To uphold the dignity and protect the rights of the deceased person, the organization started conducting funerals of unclaimed human dead bodies. This is a unique initiative where the organization is protecting the dignity of deceased people and helping police officials to do the funeral of unclaimed human dead bodies. The police department inform the organization if they found the unclaimed human dead body in Pune city. The dead bodies are mostly found on the roadside, in the garden, railway track, near highways, on bridge, near rivers, canals, etc. The organization team completes the documentation and legal process and do the funeral of the dead body. The organization is try to trace the relatives of the dead bodies and facilitates the process to get the free ambulance to the police department . 10. Watershed Program Marathwada is always the worst drought-affected region. The drought situation occurs almost every year due to less than average rainfall in the region. Drought affects all aspects such as agriculture, livestock, and human beings. To reduce the immediate effects of the drought situation, various initiatives such as soil and water conservation, constructions of ponds were carried out by the organization. Soil and Water Conservation initiatives in Aurangabad The technical team of the organization visited the drought-affected Khandala village in Aurangabad district. In this project, our technical team conducted a survey and designed techniques which is suitable to the areas. The best possible solution was to construct Continous Contour Tranches which helps to conserve rain water and help to increase the water level 11,500 villagers of Khandala got benefitted from the watershed development project. Continuous Contour Trenches (CCT) constructed at Khandala Village) The constructed Continuous Contour Trenches (CCT) of 12000m in a scientific manner helped to increase groundwater level. This CCT activity was planned based on the need of the area and topography. Impact: Soil and water conversation is increased and now villagers are not dependent on water tankers during the summer season. Villagers are able to cultivate crops during the summer season too therefore agriculture income has increased. SAPTRISHI FOUNDATION

Soil and Water Conservation Activities in KVK Campus, Aurangabad Due to dependence on the available surface and ground water, in the month of April- May usually KVK Campus was facing the scarce water scenario. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, VNMA, University, Parbhani had invited our organization to discuss the measures to address ground water issue. The meeting concluded and it was decided to take necessary measures for water availability on priority. In the KVK campus, Nala of 10m width was desilted and it has increased ground water level of campus well and its overflow was adjusted to downstream side. 11. Blanket Distribution Program According to the Lancet Study report, In India, the number of deaths per year linked with abnormal cold temperatures is 6,55,400. This is another example of working towards fulfilling the mission of the organization, like reaching out to the unreached people. To protect street and destitute people from cold waves, the Foundation distributes the blankets every year. Till now more than 1000 blankets are distributed. Saptrishi Foundation provided blankets to the children and street people. This helps children and people residing on street to protect themselves from the cold. 12. Scholarship Program Imparting good education to young generation leads to the development of the nation. Therefore, the organization provides educational scholarships to support students from marginalized and lower-income communities to get quality education. The Principal of Mahatma Phule Vidyalaya, Pune requested the foundation to provide scholarships to the three students as they were not able to pay the education fees due to poor family conditions. 13. Covid Relief Work During the first lockdown, Foundation distributed ration kits to more than 2500 families. These kits were distributed across Urban and Rural areas of Thane District and Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation The ration kits are distributed to the migrant workers, tribal communities and families who lost their livelihood SAPTRISHI FOUNDATION

15. Way Forward Saptrishi Foundation will impact on lives of underprivileged people by March 2023. The key focus areas are as follows: Inclusion of Disability: By 2023, the organization wish to start a Samagra (holistic) Divyang support system where develop a robust technology platform, call centre, networking and partnership with various organizations will be carried out. The organization aims to create an impact on the lives of 5000 people. Skillings and Entrepreneurship Development: 5000 people living with disabilities will undergo skilling and entrepreneur training, out of the 1000 people will join the workforce or become entrepreneurs. Access to Health Care Facilities: To begin Samagra (holistic) health treatment, therapy centre for the Divyang is another key area that will be targeted in the upcoming year. This holistic health support system for the common citizen will be created for better access to health care services. It will be ensured that more than 10000 people living with disabilities will have free and easy access to quality health care facilities through the innovation model. This will be done in collaboration with central and state governments. Tracing of missing human bodies and dignified funeral: To move further, the organization intends to work at the policy level and wish to upscale the model in all the cities. SAPTRISHI FOUNDATION

Research and advocacy: To bring policy level changes, the organisation wish to carry research and advocacy on its various thematic areas. Other Initiatives: Under other initiatives organizations wish to focus on the issues like education and welfare of Sainik Vocational training for street children Soft skill training centre for the youths, women, small entrepreneur, solopreneur
