Twenty-Ninth Anniversary “KIDS” Dinner & Auction Saturday, March 7, 2015 Silent Auction Rules 1. The Silent Auction will begin at 6:00 PM and will consist of written bidding on the Bid Sheets at the table in front of the item. 2. Each item can be located according to its Item Number. 3. Bids will be accepted until the table closes. Closing times are posted on the Bid Sheets and will also be announced throughout the evening. 4. Bids must be legible and must include Bid Number and Bid Amount. Any bid without a Bid Number will be disqualified. 5. Each Bid Sheet notes the Minimum Bid and Minimum Increment Value by which each bid must increase to constitute a higher bid. Each bid must be written on the uppermost available blank line. 6. All bids must be in full dollar amounts. 7. In the event bidding is still in process when the Boys & Girls Club official attempts to close the table, the official shall conduct a Mini-Live Auction on the spot. All persons who have submitted written bids may participate provided they are present when the table closes. The Boys & Girls Club of Massillon official shall determine the winning bidder subject to rule eight (8), below. 8. After the Silent Table is closed, the Bid Sheet will be taken to the Item Verification Table. At this time the validity of all bids will be verified according to the above rules. The owner of the Bid Number with the corresponding highest valid Bid Amount will be declared the winner. The decision of the Boys & Girls Club of Massillon official will be Final. Shortly after the table is closed, an official shall post the winning Bid Number and Bid Amount. Please enjoy a friendly and competitive bidding process. Our auctioneers are from KIKO Auctioneers and they and their spotters are providing their services for this evening’s fund-raising event free of charge. 2. Please make sure you have been assigned an Auction Bid Number and have received a corresponding Auction Bid Card. 3. When bidding on an item, hold your Bid Card high in the air, so your Bid Number is “spotted” by the auctioneer and recorder. 4.
