OUR STORY Years of dedication to art and culture, Etihad Modern Art Gallery and ArtHouse Cafe were established in Abu Dhabi. Working with the Sheikh ZayedGrand Mosque Centre, the Etihad Modern Art Gallery Gift Shop started on2015. Catering to tourists, this shop started with affordable souvenirs andbrass items. As the tourism industry grows, the variety of products availableat the shop also grew. Adding educational materials about Abu Dhabi andthe mosque itself, exclusive prints, Islamic items such as famous and prayerbeads, to Arabic sweets such as camel milk chocolates and dates coveredin chocolate, the shop itself keeps on expanding on its product range toenhance the experience of the visitors. Moreover, we also started providingbespoke corporate gifts such as bronze sculptures, jewelries, apparels andcrystals. Moving forward, we are ready to become the ambassadors of AbuDhabi in every gift shop that we will open.

THE IN-STORE EXPERIENCE The store itself is a cultural spot and a story-teller of Abu Dhabi. Startingfrom postcards, to prayer beads, to perfumes, to gold and silver platedsouvenirs, to 14karat golden Kaaba keys that shows different sides of theIslamic and Khaleeji life.

Proceeds from sale of merchandise goes back to helpEmirates Red Crescent in their relief activities. The Red Crescentin Abu Dhabi works to support the official authorities in peacetimeand wartime, in accordance with the provisions of Article (26) ofthe First Geneva Convention of 1949.In Peacetime:Organizing awareness programs, first aid, protection and controlthe epidemics, take attention to the social issues and providingvarious humanitarian assistance for vulnerable, needy people andvictims of accidents and disasters.In Wartime:Transferring and treating the wounded and assist prisoners in thescope of the Geneva Conventions. Provide first aid and relief to thevictims. Protection of civilians and sheltering the displaced andhomeless. Search for missing persons’ and reunion the separatedfamilies.
