Tiger Quiz In my school, Vishwa Bharati Public School, there was a tiger’s day quiz competition held and I participated in it. I loved and enjoyed the tiger's day quiz, it was a great experience for me. While participating, I also got to learn more about tigers, their species, habitat and lots of other things. The Royal Bengal Tiger is the national animal of India and Siberian tiger's, are the largest tigers in the world. I also got to learn that the 'roar' of the tiger can be heard from 3 kilometres away. Tiger's can live about 26 years in the jungle but in the zoo they can live only 16 to 18 years. The eating capacity of a tiger is approximately 25 to 27 kg of flesh in a day. Tigers are the best swimmers, they can even hunt while swimming and tigers can run maximum 65 kilometres per hour. Thank You Rudra Thakur 4A

Tiger’s Day \"Doubling tigers is about tigers, about the whole of nature - and it's also about us\" - Marco Lambertini, Director General WWF International Tiger Day is celebrated on July 29 to raise awareness about the conservation of the wild cat, which over the last 150 years has witnessed a massive drop of nearly 95% in its population. However, with several countries taking measures to curb poaching, illegal wildlife trade, human-wildlife conflict, and habitat loss, etc, the tiger population has shown some growth. Not just that, cutting of trees also contributes significantly to habitat loss, thereby leading to the reduction in the number of tigers. The theme for the 2021 International Tiger Day is “Their survival is in our hands”. Last year, the day was observed online due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, but there was no lack of enthusiasm. People across the world understood the significance of the day and contributed to celebrations in their own ways. Interestingly, India accounts for nearly 70% of the world's total tiger population and has already achieved the target of doubling its numbers. The countries pledged to raise awareness about the dramatic fall in the number of tigers and the steps required to preserve the species from going extinct. Not just that, various tiger-populated countries also vowed that they would try to double the population of the animal by 2022. VBPS has organized the Tiger Quiz which was very good initiative and helped the students to increase their awareness on our national animal. Atharv Upadhyay 3B

Tiger Day Quiz I am very grateful to Vishwa Bharati Public School for arranging the \"Tiger Quiz\" for all the students of our school on 29th July 2021. Children learn faster through fun based activities . Hence, what better way than serving them with an interesting quiz for kids. Tiger quiz was very interesting consisting multiple choice questions. W e prepared for quiz by learning tiger’s characteristics like their colours, species, their habitat, stripes etc. I would like to thank my teacher's for supporting us and boosting our confidence in such a pandemic situation. Pragun Dagar 3A Tiger Day Quiz Activity I am glad that Vishwa Bharati Public School organized Tiger Day Quiz competition, which was held on 29th July. This event helped in spreading awareness about Tiger and their species. It also included different facts about tigers like – • Food Habits • Average age • Species • Tiger Reserves in India etc. Due to this quiz contest, kids got more information about tigers and their living habits. They came to know about the total population of tigers around the world and also about their survival as they are at the edge of extinct. Since Tiger is our national animal therefore it is more important for everyone to ensure that their kids and coming generation has more awareness about Tiger. Many kids took participation in this event and the winners of quiz were announced which helped to make Tiger’s day a memorable one. Shubhang Khanna 3A
