Aptem enables you to: • Instantly see how learners are progressing against learning targets • Sign apprenticeship paperwork with electronic signatures • Access the messaging centre to see communications throughout the apprenticeship This guide describes the various Aptem features and how to use them. 4

The console helps you easily identify your apprentices, the programme, along with the apprenticeship start and end date. The name of the coach is also clearly visible. 10
You can view programme status and see those who are currently going through the enrolment process. The main programme statuses are: • Onboarding – this is used for apprentices who are going through the enrolment process • Active – apprentices who are currently working towards their apprenticeship • Entered EPA – apprentices (England only) who have completed the training element of the apprenticeship and are now undertaking End-point Assessment • Completed – apprentices who have completed their apprenticeship • Withdrawn – apprentices who have withdrawn from their apprenticeship before completing • Not eligible – used for individuals who did not meet the eligibility criteria for the apprenticeship If you have a lot of apprentices, you can click on the filter button and narrow down the list by filtering on the programme, group your organisation hierarchy by selecting Employer Groups and status of the apprentice. 11

This provides more information on their dashboard, reviews, documents and skills radar. The reviews section shows all the reviews that are planned and complete. The documents section contains a copy of the compliance documents and reviews that you have signed off for your apprentice. The skills radar section provides a more detailed view of the skills radar. The skills radar shows how your apprentice is progressing against all the knowledge, skills and behaviours contained withing the apprenticeship. The skills radar is an assessment tool used to highlight where more support is required, specific to each apprentice and aid discussions around development goals. Lifetime's online learning platform | A how-to-guide for managers Signatures As part of the apprenticeship you’ll be required to sign off initial compliance documentation and progress reviews throughout the programme. In the signatures section you can see all of the compliance documentation and apprenticeship reviews that you need to sign for an apprentice. You can sign documents with ease, by clicking on the sign button, reviewing the document and signing it. Sign 14
Messaging The messaging section contains system generated messages that highlight documents that require signatures and you can also send messages to your apprentices. 15

Click on the question mark, and select ‘employer’, then take a look through the topics and find the one that you need. 16
