The very first class was established in 1925 by Alene Rather. The class was developed from a series of art classes sponsored by various local organizations. The Art Institute of San Antonio’s building is not big or small, it is more likely in the middle of those two rankings. There are multiple food places all around the campus. There is housing on campus but if you’d prefer you can always stay off campus with family or friends!
Financial Aid Here at The Art Institute of San Antonio we offer many different kinds of financial aid to help you have a better college experience. Here are some of the resources we offer: Art Grant - You can earn a tuition grant of up to $17,340 for bachelor’s degree programs (an average of up to 18%) and up to $5,845 (up to 13%), for associate’s degree programs. Institutional Grants & Scholarships - Ai is offering full and partial scholarships during the school year to eligible students. College Bound- This is a great way to transition to college life—and create a portfolio of work that can be used to request proficiency credits* upon enrollment at an Art Institutes location. Student Life Student’s lives at Ai are very laid back and not too overwhelming. We do not have any sports, for we are an art school. Most students do live off campus with family but we would be more than glad to have more of our students live on campus! We also provide student services to help assist students with locating job opportunities. We take pride in our students and we want everyone attending our school to have the best experience they could possible have.
