Here is the overview of the technical discussion I had with Alliance for Health this summer. Project Plan ------------------------------------------ Requirements Definition (once this is done you/we will have to visit them in office to go over it with them) Statement of Work Phase 1 - Website Redesign and Database Stand-up Demo Phase 2 - Database Features Demo Hardening (Testing) Deployment User Demo Changes/Fixes (3 month warranty) Work Proposal ------------------------------------------ Website Redesign - html 5/web 2.0 - flexible and easy to update (templates, cms software); allow them to modify webcontent easily Database Re-implementation - support group emailing of three (3) major groups (Congressional, Staffers, other) - support mailing multiple briefings in a single email; ideally they would like to have users receive a single email (daily/weekly) and include all briefings that apply (congressional, staffers, media, etc.); this will help with false-spam listing. - support other groups or possible subgroups (contributors, media, etc). Groups are not mutually exclusive and should be selectable (multi-choice) - Email unsubscribe support - Solutions for blacklisting on spam servers - Online entry form for adding recipients; create separate admin-analytics area; (admin user, analytic user, staff user) - Ability to remove recipients also (date-usage algorithm) - capture recipient 'flight' information from emails and website usage (landing point); also possibly add other business analytics - Port existing records (16k) - will need to use date to filter out records. Records that are predated will need to be manually reviewed for contributors.
