It was their wish to share their art with the community. The Museum has become an important attraction since opening in Cartersville, being the world’s largest permanent exhibition space for Western art, and the largest museum of its kind in the Southeast. Since opening, close to one million people have visited the Booth. Booth Western Art Museum is proud to announce a series of exciting events in celebration of its 20th anniversary. These events offer unique experiences for members and art enthusiasts alike, showcasing the museum's commitment to engagement, and appreciation for the American West. Booth's 20 Year Celebration - A Musical Journey Embark on a musical journey through the history of Booth Western Art Museum at the Savoy Automobile Museum Theatre. Celebrate 20 years of the museum's dedication to the public with live music, memorable anecdotes, and captivating performances by Scott Thompson, Jim Dunham, Jim Dorsett, and Cowboy James Edwards. This exceptional event showcases the greatest moments of the museum, narrated through music, storytelling, and entertainment accompanied by a live band. The celebration will take place on Saturday, July 22, with shows at 5:30 pm and 7:30 pm. Circle members receive their first four tickets free, while Regular and Museum Package members, employees, former Booth employees, volunteers, and docents receive their first two tickets free. MORE

The Claudia Hartley Experience: Step into an Abstract Landscape Experience the joy of painting without any intimidation as Claudia Hartley, renowned artist, leads participants on a small adventure into an abstract landscape. The Claudia Hartley Experience will be held at the Booth Art Academy, located within the Teacher Resource Center, on Saturday, August 12, at 9:00 am and 1:00 pm. Member Brunch Throw Down with Amy Watts and Michael Goettee Calling all Booth members! Prepare for a delightful brunch experience as artists/cooks Amy Watts and Michael Goettee engage in lively banter while preparing their favorite version of bacon, eggs, and toast in front of a live audience. Listen to their captivating stories, share in the laughter, and savor the delicious food. The Member Brunch Throw Down will be held on August 19, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. Free parking is available in the Tabernacle Baptist Church parking lot on Gilmer Street, across from the Museum entrance. Museum Hours Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm.
