Clay Art Clay Art presentation When artistic fingers are at work, you can treat your eyes to intricate drawings, paintings, confined colouring and so much more. The little ones of Junior KG and Senior KG were ready to display their artistry. With keen interest and a will to be the best they made colourful houses, rockets, penguins, caterpillars etc. The sense of pride and achievement was observed on the smiling faces as they spoke about their clay art presentation with great confidence and fluency. 02

Puppet Show Puppet Show Creating puppets and putting on a show with them is the ultimate kid activity. Puppets provide a method of expression that makes it easier for children to voice their thoughts and feelings feely. Talking through a puppet allows children to explore ideas and enact situations in a way that they are familiar with. Speaking in complete sentences and using interesting and enriched vocabulary, will result in an advanced speaking skill. For the all-round development of students, a “puppet show” was organised on 20th June, 2017. The topic was “The Honest Woodcutter.” The puppets used for the puppet show were handmade by the teachers. The children really enjoyed the show which made learning fun and went home with a Value “Honesty is the best Policy”. The novelty of the show made it an instant hit with all the students. 05

Open House OPEN HOUSE Parents are happy to be a part of the Bhavan's family because Open House gives them an opportunity to discuss their ward's behavioural patterns, academics, progression, and assessments with the Class Teacher. The Parent - Teacher meeting was held on 3rd June 21, 2017. 07

World Environment Day Environment DayA special assembly was organized by Jr. KG Cosmos on 5th June to markWorld Environment Day. Environment sensitive Bhavanities expressed theirviews regarding environment protection through an amazing songperformance ‘let’s join hands to nurture Nature’. Students confidently spreadthe message of understanding the dire need for everyone to be environmentconscious. Rhythmic Bhavanites added zing to the day’s celebrations with anupbeat and mesmerizing dance performance which received high applause. 08

Ramadan Ramadan Drive Ramadan is a special holy month where millions of Muslim fast to please and obey their lord. To enhance the essence of helping the needy, our tiny tots of kindergarten contributed generously by dropping the donations in the donation box. Honouring the Year of Giving, the values of generosity and sharing was inculcated in the students. 09

Summer VacationSummer vacations are generally the happiest period of the student’s life. It matters alot to them as they get some rest and relax from their daily school schedule. Thisyear summer vacation in UAE starts from the fourth week of June and ends onsecond week of September with two EID celebration during the vacation.The purpose of it is multifold including relaxation from high summer heat; givestudents a long break from school work. It also aims to help students to getrecovered in the weak subjects. During summer vacation, students get opportunity tovisit new places, enhance their general knowledge, get time for project work ofschool, etc.We have planned our vacation toMalaysia and enjoy our time visitingfew of our friend and relative inMalaysia. We have booked our flightand I was really excited to board theflight. I had also checked the internet for all the tourist attraction and theme parks information in Malaysia which we were planning to visit. 10

Summer Vacation Langkawi – A Beautiful Island in Malaysia We hired a cottage Langkawi and stayed there for 1 week for our stay there. The climate was very bracing. We felt as if we were in heaven. We relaxed there fully. We also had a ride in Cable Car, visit local beach and many more tourist places. The best day was at Sunway Lagoon Theme park where I enjoy with my family all the water rides and slides in the park. 11

I was weak in English, so I had taken a learner book with me. I used to study Summer Vacationthree letter words and practice joining statement and coloring in my leisuretime. I also learnt swimming as we have pool in the area where we werestaying. We used to have plenty of fruit after meals and tried lot of local fruitslike Durian and food items like Satay of Malaysia.Every nice thing has its end. So was the case of our trip to Malaysia. Timerolled on and the day approached when we had to leave our dreamdestination.
