In Loving Memory l Ebusuapanyin John Ernest Grant - Essilfie l 1952-2023 TRIBUTE BY WIDOW I lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, The maker of heaven and earth. Psalm 121:1-2 John Ernest Grant-Essilifie my companion, is now no more. Though I know death is the need to life on earth, little did I know that death would knock at my husband's door so soon. Daa, as I affectionately call him, was very bold, industrious, dedicated, generous and loving in nature. He was tolerant, accommodating and willing to help everyone. We were an integral part of each other, because you were my advisor, Bible teacher, man of prayer and the word. He was a man with unwavering faith, who was very mindful of a place called heaven. Honourable, was very eloquent, a family man who cherished education and knew customs and traditions. He was a strict disciplinarian who will always stand for the truth. He helped to groom all those that came his way from all sectors of life. As a result of his trustworthiness and devotion to duties assigned to him he was made a leader in most of the organizations he belonged. Though my husband was battling with ill health for the past few years, we prayed and hoped that all medications would yield a favorable result. But alas! You wanted to be with your maker. He sang a lot of hymns the day before his demise. And before he gave his last breath, he repeatedly said, “Jesus hold me with your powerful hand”. I trust very well he is with his maker. Thank you so much my companion for being there for me all these years. Till we meet again across the river, Fare thee well, MY DEAR HUSBAND! (4 )

He bought us goodies especially when we perform well in school and actively participate in church activities. Grandpa taught us to do the right thing and will scold us when we go wrong.
