I think English is very important in the maritime industry. English is a language that is patented as an international language where everyone in all parts of the world can communicate with someone who has a different language by using English. and at the port we will be faced with the arrival of foreign ships so we must be able to speak English so that we can communicate well and the work goes smoothly.

the role of English in the maritime industry is important, especially in communication, so that the work runs smoothly, good communication is needed between one another. For example, in acting as an agent for foreign ships in port, ship agents must be able to speak English fluently so that communication with the captain and crew the ship can run smoothly.

my personal plans and aspirations after graduating from stimaryo i will work in the maritime industry, especially in the port, for that i have to equip myself with the ability to speak english so that when i meet many foreigners at the port I can communicate smoothly so that my work can also run smoothly.

In my opinion, English is very important for all of us who will work in the maritime sector because of the industry requirements to be accepted for work in shipping companies, one of which is being able to speak English fluently.
