From MD's Desk Dear Colleagues, Happy Holi, hope you all enjoyed festival of Holi with your family. I wish you and your family good health and safety. Considering current time, our safety is critical from COVID Virus. And this we can attain only by following guidelines shared by our Task Force. As COVID cases are going up drastically in our country, we need to be cautious and ensure we and our family are safe and secure. We should not take any steps which can put health of ourselves, our family or our colleagues in risk. Theme of this Quarter’s Rayjuvenate is “Dialogue – Lets exchange”. Dialogue is very important part of our business, as this is first step towards our value of Collaboration. Dialogue and the way to make Dialogue is very important, I am sure the same you will learn in this magazine. Rayjuvenate is also helping me to have dialogue with each one of you!!!

From MD's Desk I was recalling April 2020, same time of last year, we were all at home due to sever lock down in our country. This lock down was essential to keep us away from this contagious disease. All our efforts paid well and due to sever lock down and after lock down strict implementation of COVID guidelines we managed to ensure least effect as compared to communities around us. I appreciate your efforts and request you to not to give up on COVID guidelines, this is essential for our country to win over this Virus. Our small efforts will help our Country. Our markets are helping our growth in Q1, and our additional business in automotive and Industrial market helped us to grow significantly in these markets. We have achieved highest turnover in Q1 2021. During Q1 we successfully cleared ISO27000 Audit. We expanded our Chennai plant to receive more molding machines. Situation seems to be same in Q2 as well. The real challenge in coming months is Raw Material shortages due to very high demand globally. We will have to manage our customer production in this challenging time. We all need to ensure we use our raw material wisely, by reducing waste and ensuring smart usage of RM. In Q2 we will also plan to move Quick Connector machines to new building in Pune and at the same time we want to start Quick Connectors assembly in our Chennai Plant. I wish you again good safety and health. Once again, I want to request you to take all precautionary measures and follow COVID guidelines to help us avoid this contagious virus at any cost. Jai Hind, Manish

Editorial “Dialogue” an integral part of our daily life. The literal meaning of word ‘DIALOGUE’ is : a conversation between two or more people as a feature in a movie/play or to be part of discussion and conversation to solve a problem. Yes we all can remember various famous dialogues from our Bollywood movies, do we think about our dialogues in our own movie called LIFE? The Dialogue is an essential part of “conversation” it may be in the form or a message, stories, examples, preaching, quotes, sayings, counselling, informative talks, discussions or any other type of exchanges to express ourselves in our own style and manner. We human beings are blessed with power of communication, where having a dialogue with ourselves and with others decides fate of any situation. On different occasions we might have experiences various patter of dialogues. For instance, at least once in each of our lives, we find ourselves in a situation of total embarrassment — a situation where we understood or heard one thing, while the reality was something completely different. Our ability to listen and process information is key to navigating life’s twists and turns. The importance of exchanging the Dialogues is not surprising when we consider the staggering amount of time people spend communicating on the job.

Editorial Speaking to our inner voice is really a good starting point where you can establish an honest and genuine dialogue with ourselves. Our journey starts here! If used wisely and effectively, having a mindful dialogue can be that one solution, helping us to provide or take right decisions for effective and objective changes. It can also be used to take all ideas into the account to build the most effective and collective situation. The mutual exchange between two entities needs to be encouraged for having fruitful dialogue. No matter how complicated the situation could be, how challenging the issue might be, an effective dialogue solves the issues and gives an ideal solution benefitting all the stakeholders involved. In a typical situation of ‘Conflict Management’ or ‘Problem Solving’, dialogue allows for identification and solution to a problem by ‘thinking together’ Dialogue allows for the true exploration of the problem. Thinking together arrives as part of generative dialogue. This is the phase of the dialogic process when the participants together reach new insights, co-create, and ultimately solve the problem with a much greater depth. Dialogue can speed up the process of change within an organization. Thought coherence is its result. Thinking together is the optimal way to solve problems once coherence is achieved. Dialogue and discussions are those two aspects which we need to absorb as our communication style where discussion leads to decisions and dialogue leads to deep understanding.

Editorial This is interesting to note that ‘Dialogue’ and discussion should be used in such a manner to enable the collaborative outcomes. But if we learn to exchange the dialogues, well recognize the appropriate way to communicate in various business contexts, we’ll gain several great, long lasting advantages that will serve us throughout our professional journey. Our communication plays a key role in efforts to improve efficiency, quality, responsiveness and innovation in our assigned role ultimately contributing to Company’s success and effective dialogue is the most crucial part of successful communication.

Article At least once in each of our lives, we find ourselves in a situation of total embarrassment — a situation where we understood or heard one thing, while the reality was something completely different. Our ability to listen and process information is key to navigating life’s twists and turns. The importance of exchanging the Dialogues is not surprising when you consider the staggering amount of time people spend communicating on the job. We should begin a dialogue to provide or take right conditions for effective and objective changes. It can also be used to take all ideas into the account to build the most effective collective situation. By exchanging the dialogues we can also give frank and appropriate face to face feedbacks. Providing feedback should begin a dialogue and come to a greater shared understanding of a situation or circumstance. Providing feedback is also one of the actions listed in the “Dialogue” pillar, “To give frank and appropriate feedback face to face”. Just to be clear, the purpose of feedback isn’t to make people necessarily feel better; it’s to help them do better. One can get constructive feedbacks by creating safety. One should be always positive. Positive feedback makes the recipient open to taking a new direction. You should be always specific. People generally respond better to specific, positive direction. Leave out any ambiguous statements. Always be sincere. Sincerity says that you mean what you say with care and respect. You must avoid “need to” phrases. This implies that you think something didn’t go well, and often doesn’t provide clarity or direction. You should be tough, not mean. Start by asking the team member his or her perspective on the situation instead of attacking his or her actions. There can be some times when you have to provide negative feedback. If you can’t provide negative feedback in a helpful manner, it defeats the purpose. You should provide negative feedbacks in by saying something positive first. Always focus on a specific behavior. You must avoid blaming the others. Express concerns while providing the negative feedback along with focusing on the future options. Dialogue should not be violent, it must be non-violent. Nonviolent communication is the integration of “Consciousness, Language, Communication and Means of Influence”. If you learn to exchange the dialogues well recognize the appropriate way to communicate in various business contexts, you’ll gain a major advantage that will serve you throughout your career. Moreover, because your communication plays a key role in efforts to improve efficiency, quality, responsiveness and innovation, your communication affects your company’s success.
