Odi’s Mod List with Hyperlinks – August 10, 2020 1. Pre-Installation. It is recommended to start clean with a fresh install of Skyrim. 2. Tools. I have used the following tools to create my mod list. I’ve included guides that I’ve found useful in the past. Mod Organizer 2. I use Mod Organizer 2 to manage mod installation. The remainder of the tools I use are launched through Mod Organizer 2. A guide on Mod Organizer 2 set up is HERE. LOOT. I use LOOT to sort the plugin load order in the right-hand pane of Mod Organizer 2. LOOT will also tell you which mods require cleaning by SSEEdit. A guide on using LOOT with MO2 is HERE. SSEEdit. This tool is vital for cleaning mods identified by LOOT, identifying conflicts between mods and creating conflict resolution patches. A SSEEdit installation guide is HERE. A comprehensive guide on conflict identification and resolution is HERE. Note: My mod list resolves conflicts through load order and patches provided by mod authors and mod hubs so the generation of SSEEdit conflict resolution patches should not be necessary. SSELodgen. This tool is used to create some of the LODs used in this mod list. I use it to generate terrain, trees and occlusion LODs leaving the remaining LODs to DynDOLOD. A guide is HERE. DynDOLOD. I use this to generate remaining LODs not already generated by SSELodgen. A guide to using DynDOLOD is HERE. I can’t get 3D Trees to work with DynDOLOD which is the reason why I use SSELodgen to generate tree LODs. 3. Mod Installation. The installation order of my mod list is as per below and is reflected in the left-hand pane of MO2. Also note that many of these mods have pre made conflict resolution patches in their optional files section on Nexus. I download the patches I need and rename them to separate them from the original mod. Section 6 is a list of those downloaded patches. Plugin load order is decided by LOOT with the following exceptions: - Consistent Older People - should be loaded before Bijin and Pandorable NPC replacers. - KS Hair for all NPCs – all three esps should be loaded as early as MO2 allows. 1
