A CSR proposal - Doubling Farmers’ profit through effective Nutrient Management (FDP Technology) Presented by- Implementation partner- Distinct Horizon Syngenta Foundation of India
Developing and anchoring Agri-entrepreneurs (AEs) ❖ Providing AE the access to cutting-edge technology in nutrient management (Urea Deep Placement) to increase the crop reliability by improving soil quality and reducing carbon footprint.
Doubling Farmer's Income ❖ Doubling farmer’s benefit through the adoption of an accurate package of practices using Urea Deep Placement. ❖ Increases yield of rice by 25% by increasing effectiveness of Urea.
Reducing Carbon Footprint ❖ Climate resilient crops ❖ 0.3-0.4 tonCO2eq GHG reduced per hectare ❖ 20% extra yield ❖ 30% reduction in urea consumption ❖ 50% profit increase for farmers
Subsidy cost ❖ Reduced urea consumption generates savings of 17 Lakh of Govt. Subsidy on Urea per machine. ❖ Even at 10% adoption rate, can save 840Cr worth import.
Meeting SDGs ❖ The overall functioning of the AE project addresses seven Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by addressing the key issues of the Indian farmer such as access to high-quality inputs, regenerative agriculture know-how, irrigation services, digital literacy, and financial solutions.
Our Offerings As a tractor- driven machine, DH Converts fertilizers to briquette Vriddhi is an automatic, seven- row form which is used in DH Vridhi FDP applicator for paddy that and Samriddhi efficiently deploys urea briquettes inside the soil with reduced labour, time and effort.
IMPACT Environment : By promoting sustainable farming practices, reducing the use of fertilizers, and promoting the conservation of Livelihood : water and soil it reduces GHG emission by 0.3-0.4 tonne per Government : hectare. More than 200 farmer families may benefit from each village, depending on the number of villages chosen by the financing partner. The program can support the government by reducing its burden on Urea imports. Even at 10% adoption rate, can save 840Cr worth import Fertilizer usage : Fertilizer consumption reduced by 40%.
TESTIMONIALS Sukhdev Singh Lakhwinder singh Ramakant (Rice farmer, Uttar Pradesh) (Rice farmer, Uttar Pradesh) (Sugarcane farmer, Uttar Pradesh) “I was relieved that my crop got “I only needed half of the urea “The crop that grew with UDP nitrogen even before sowing, an which I use generally.
