So what better place to study the English language? Dublin, the nation’s capital, is a lively, modern cosmopolitan city housing a population of approximately 1.5 million people. It is located on the east coast of the country at the mouth of the River Liffey. The city is over 1000 years old and was first established by the Vikings in the 9th century. 50 plus Programme Combined English course /Cultural and Social Activities The 50+ programme is designed for mature students who wish to study exclusively with other students of a similar age to themselves. It is based on ‘Everyday English’ and is for mature students who wish to learn useful phrases and functional language for travel and everyday situations. The course is delivered at a more leisurely pace so you can develop fluency in a casual and informal learning environment. Entry level: A1 Minimum Age: 50 years Length of course: Minimum 2 weeks Start date – Any Monday Lesson/per week 15 hours plus evening conversation classes free of charge Class size: maximum 12 Requirement : minimum group: 5 students By enrolling in this course you can improve your general level of English, learn key vocabulary as well as functional and situational English phrases which will enable you to communicate easily in English anywhere in the world. Business English Our Business English course is designed for students who wish to improve their overall English proficiency with a particular focus on their business English language skills. In our General English classes students focus on improving their reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, listening and general conversation skills. In the specific Business English classes students will focus on their Business English vocabulary and grammar and conversational proficiency in small groups. Additionally, the course will touch on business theory communication and the student will be requested to complete a questionnaire prior to course commencement to ensure that their expectations are met during the course of study. 20 hours per week Monday to Friday: 9.00 -10.30, 10.45-12.15. Evening Courses Weekday evening courses are from 18:00 – 20:00 Monday to Friday and are another feature of Arya’s comprehensive approach to English language training. Accommodation Arya offer students an array of accommodation options ranging from host families to student accommodation. Upon your arrival in Dublin, you will be met by an ARYA representative and given a thorough induction to your student accommodation. ARYA accommodation is generally within 30 minutes by public transport to the school. Host family accommodation is inspected and monitored prior to students’ arrival. Student Accommodation offers the independence and freedom of city-centre living, whilst host families give students an opportunity to immerse themselves in Irish family life and culture.

Social Life Orientation and induction take place at the school each Friday allowing you the opportunity to find out about school life and all the wonderful social opportunities available to ARYA students. We believe that an English language school social programme should provide students with chances to practice the language learnt in classes and to learn more about Irish life and customs. Here at Arya we feature a wide selection of foreign as well as domestic excursions, both on a regular basis. Examples of our foreign excursions have included trips to Poland, Morocco and Paris. Guided domestic tours to all places of interest in Ireland are also featured and topped off with regular, parties, sports activities such as football and paint ball and and the famous – ARYA BARBECUE!
There are some great local and national excursions also, such as: Cliffs of Moher, Belfast and the Giant’s Causeway and the beautiful town of Kilkenny. Locally and for a small fee you can visit Christchurch Cathedral, Jameson Distillery and St. Patrick’s Cathedral or the Book of Kells at Trinity College. You can also learn about Dublin and its rich culture and history by taking part in some of our free excursions to Dublin Castle, the Museum of Archaeology, the Museum of Modem Art or the National Museum at Collins Barracks. We also take great pride in teaching students Irish culture during our regular Irish Culture Classes.
