Integumentary System Continued Key Terms pt.2 Eczema- conditions that cause skin to become red, itchy, inflamed, and sometimes blistering and weeping(aka Atopic dermatitis) Acne- a skin condition that occurs when your hair follicles become clogged with oil and dead skin cells. Conditions/Diseases(4) Ichthyosis- disorder that causes dry, thickened skin that may look similar to fish scales Lichen Sclerosus- causes white spots or patches on skin of the genital and and anal areas Vitiligo- a disorder that causes patches of skin to become white Rosacea- a long-term disease that causes reddened skin and pimples, usually on the face
