Bamboo Springs July 2020 Survey Results The management team Response Overview conducted a resident § Responses owner survey in July 2020 followed up twice to assess satisfaction & § 83% (5/6) of identify areas for respondents were improvement resident owners § Respondents had an average satisfaction rating of 4/5 (80%)
Reason for 80% satisfaction Main reasons for high satisfaction were: o Good neighborhood & good neighbours o Civility of interactions o Dependable caretaker (Jane) Rating would be even higher if: o Managing was more structured/ organized o Noise from kids was less – particularly football pitch noise next door & kids playing in the compound 03. Satisfaction 100% overall, 80% if quite happy is excluded § 60% were happy and 20% very happy + 20% quite happy = 100% § Weighted average was 80% excluding the quite happy 04.
Safety Comments § CCTV needs to be extended 100% overall to cover all three blocks § 67% always and 33% usually § Common area light bulbs 05. need to be replaced more promptly § Why did security not get changed after theft incidents?
Covid-19 Response Comments § Clear direction- sanitization, 100% overall 67% if somewhat effective excluded masks, visitors # limit, § (17% extremely; 50% very) + 33% somewhat communicated early § One household in particular 06. seems to have brought in very many people (I think most newbies are children) § Only 2 visitors is 2 extreme – consider 4 instead
Management Comments 83% overall, 17% neutral § Management team is good. Am satisfied with the work they are 07. doing § …after the night askari was mentioned adversely regarding theft(s) etc, I'm rather curious as to what action was/is to be taken § Initially thought communication was lacking but I understand we're in transition so… § Any issue I've had, they have been quite responsive and helpful. I felt that I was heard!
Rules Comments § A great start and will help bring order to the community § They are ok. I can't think of anything \"deep and meaningful\" at the moment... § They are good § The rules are good. The only rule I feel we could adjust is the temporary rule limiting visitors to 2. Can we adjust this to 4? § Generally fair. 1) I wish we could have pets 2) The two-day max limit of visitors cars is a tad severe. Say I have a guest from out of town staying with me, where would they park? I've noticed that only 1 or 2 cars use the inner basement parking so why can't they use that? Within reason of course! 08.
Suggestions & Offers Comments § More communication & prompter replacement of light bulbs please § Live and let live. I sometimes feel like we don't have that balance. This is hard. I guess it's a work in progress § Honestly nothing. Y'all have covered the basics very well! Keep up the effort § I am willing to coordinate a recycling effort § I have a green thumb so I could help with potted plants at the landing of each building, if that was needed § On parking arrangement, we need some open space (approx 1m) at the entry of the block, for ease of movement especially when carrying luggage 08.
