DEAR CHILDREN, It has begun. It’s finally here, The summer fun! Feel the warmth, See the garden grow, Taste the sweetest fruits, Watch the butterflies flow. Hear the squirrels chatter And study on your own. Till the evening comes With the summer moon. It seems like you’ve waited. Such long, Longing for the fun of summer time, but don’t forget your study time.

Children are great imitators so this summer let’s improve our habits and encourage children to imitate the same. Cleanliness is next to Godliness.As a parent you can also imitate their habits which will make them feel important too. Brush your teeth twice a day. Avoid Sugar, drink lots of water, eat lots of fruits. Keep things back to their place. Get up little earlier to have a talk with nature, it can be an exercise, yoga, watering your potted plants or filling up the feeder for birds. Listen to your child carefully. Spend quality time with them. Talk to them,eat together, read together. Avoid phones when they want to talk to you. Don’t show aggression when things are out of your control. Keep calm and try to find solutions. As a teacher/ parent or elder at home it’s our duty to pass on values to our kids. This lockdown has forced us to introspect on everything which we were avoiding. We are having less pollution;we are able to see starry nights and chirping of birds is soothing to ears. Make this summer holidays a memorable one for you and your child. Give lots of love to your child.
