Grade - 3 Session - (2022-23)
Despite the hot sun, we can still have a lot of fun, Summer is… Ice cream scoops, whenever our spirit droops, Watermelons and jellies, to joyfully fill our bellies In my head I hear a humming, soon summer vacations are coming. Holidays are always a welcome break from the normal routine. We all look forward to them. It gives us the opportunity to pursue all those activities that we enjoy. Homework can reinforce what has been taught, contribute to the development of children, and cultivate a healthy disposition towards learning. So, keeping that in mind we have planned most of the activities that aim at building values, improving self-esteem and memory.
Here are some constructive activities to keep the children buzzing like busy bees. Reading / Writing time: Children should discover the joy of reading new story books before going to bed daily. They should improve their handwriting by doing one page of cursive writing daily. Love your Environment: Clean your room and surroundings, reuse the items, save water, turn “off” the lights when you leave a room, and use paper bags. Take an earthen pot and decorate it and plant a sapling in it. Act of Kindness: The smallest thing can make the biggest impact. It is very important to teach the child to inculcate the habit of doing kind acts like Saying “Thank you”, donating old clothes and books, wishing “Good morning’, throwing the litter in the garbage and helping elders. Showing gratitude by making a flower for any “Helper“. Good Habits: Play less on computers, don’t waste food, don’t bite your nails, don’t hurt anyone, use a handkerchief to clean your nose, eat healthy food and brush your teeth twice a day. Do yoga or Surya Namaskar daily as it helps to make your body fit and healthy.
