Chanja Datti is an Abuja based social enterprise that collects andrecycles waste (PET bottles, cans, paper, cardboards) that can bereused to manufacture other beneficial products 2 Our Mission • Chanja Datti is a social enterprise that collects and recycles waste (PET bottles, cans, paper, cardboard etc.) and transforms them intoTo convert waste into raw materials (baled/flakes), which are supplied for use in thecommercially viable products manufacture of various products. Particular focus is on plastic wastewhile empowering women (PET bottles).and youth entrepreneurs inthe process. Our Vision • Chanja Datti is derived from the Hausa language and it means ‘to change or transform dirt’. Chanja Datti has five main objectives spread along social,environmental and financial areas. The company is focused oncreating value for all its stakeholders 3 Objectives How they will be achieved1 Improve the general living condition by Rid the environment of waste recyclables which is the reducing the quantity of waste lying around major constituent of gutter/lagoon blockage, dumpsite filth and environmental pollution.2 Provide opportunity for youth and women micro entrepreneurs By utilising the potentials in women, this project provides them with financial independence, hence3 Create value for investors and all empowering them to contribute to family and economy stakeholders Millions of dollars is lost in revenue through materials4 Reduce capital flight by reducing the we consider as waste.
