❖What are Quantifiers? ➢ Quantifiers is the word used to tell the quantity of things. ➢ Used to give information on the quantity of something, for example, quantifiers are like much, many, some, any, a few, a little, a lot of, all, no. In here are the words that we often come across in daily life.

❖ Using quantifiers and example sentences ➢ Many • Many + plural countable nouns • It can be used for both dictation, negation and question. Example ✓ I have many friends in Thailand. ✓ We don’t have many customers this month. ✓ How many cats do you have?

❖ Using quantifiers and example sentences ➢ Much • Much + uncountable nouns • It is often used in negative and interrogative sentences. Example ✓I don’t have much money. ✓How much sugar do you take in your coffee?

❖ Using quantifiers and example sentences ➢ Some • Some + plural countable nouns and uncountable • nouns. affirmative sentences and interrogative Used with sentences that represent proposals, requests, or suggestions. Example ✓ I bought some apples from the market. ✓ Would you like some coffee?

❖ Using quantifiers and example sentences ➢ Any • Any + plural countable nouns and uncountable nouns. • Used in negative and interrogative sentences. Example ✓I don’t have any money. ✓Have you got any bananas? ✓Do you have any money?
