Moss Ltd together, which is preferable from this author's perspective, Guus Roell and Dickie Zebregs, as part of the enjoyment of the fair is the incredible variety Zebregs&Roel l Fine Art & Antiques passing from one stand to the next. Summer 2023 While it is difficult to know how everyone got on at this year's fair- some dealers reportedly did extraordinarily well, some merely covered their costs while others lost money on the event- this author's main takeaway from TEFAF Maastricht 2023 is that there is still an important place for this type of high-end art and antiques fair. Despite the recent well-publicised cancellation of art fairs in the UK and people becoming increasingly accustomed to view- ing and buying art online during the pandemic, there is simply no comparison to a live event. People from all walks of life still enjoy dressing in their finest, mixing with others of similar interests and having a special day out, viewing, learning about and acquiring in person the finest art and antiques available. For these masons, the future of the art fair remains secure, at least in the near term.
