REBELLION a Life out of Control Well folks, you probably remember about me talking about my first wake up call in life, it was when Carol talked me into going to the four Square church in Utica; Pastor Tanner, where I was healed and born again all in about 3 minutes. It was a meeting with God that I never expected and until this day I thank Him for that because it changed my life drastically out of darkness into His marvelous light. If that day didn’t happen I’m afraid to know where I would be or if I would be alive. Well life is funny, I just had my 2nd wakeup call in life. My girlfriend recently stopped by, I told her I didn’t feel good and she said let’s run up to the doctors and just check your blood pressure, and surprisingly I gave in. I hardly ever go to doctors, as I believe that God the great physician Is enough so they just gave me a Covid test and sent me home, 3 days Later, I got the result, I was positive but felt no symptoms whatsoever but then my daughter stopped by and noticed I didn’t look good and wasn’t making a lot of sense. She is a nurse so she took out her fingertip oxygen sensor and put it on me. And the shock came, she said dad your oxygen level is 72-73% we need to go to the hospital right now! So away we went, we got to the front door of the hospital where Kali my youngest daughter works. My oldest daughter, Cortney was on the phone with Kali and she was telling her what she had seen. They both thought it was not good, so they let me off at the front door and with the rules in place wouldn’t come in. Even though she worked there, one of my daughters called the hospital that night and spoke to a doctor, he said things didn’t look good and they were going to intubate me. My oldest daughter Cortney said no. Not until the
REBELLION a Life out of Control morning, all the girls were over including my ex-wife, Carol. Codi walked out back crying out to God “What can I do Lord.” She got a Bible and start reading me scriptures over the phone. She, my other 2 daughters, and Carol did for 7 straight hours and in the morning. When they called the doctor, he told them I made a complete turn around and was doing much better. The weird thing is from the minute I walked into the hospital I remembered absolutely nothing for 3 days. I was there for a total of 6 weeks, another strange part is that I never once felt sick or lost my appetite. It mainly affected my lungs, I had on oxygen for 2 weeks when I got back home, as of the time I am writing this, I have been off oxygen for 5 days, doing light exercise, lung exercise and walking, trying to get my endurance back but all in all this might sound crazy to you but I am glad it happened because all I hours reading the bible and praying and I’m probably closer to The Lord than I have even been. so thank GOD for my second wake up call in life, because I know now he wants to use me mightily and He wants me to go into some form of ministry full time. Luke 4:18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, 2 Timothy 1:7 For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
