SCHOOL ON WHEELS One Man’s Dream to Educate Homeless Students Charles Evans knows exactly what his students are going through because like them, he too grew up homeless. It’s why he’s devoted his life to giving back to the community as the Regional Director of School on Wheels, a non-profit that provides tutoring services and educational opportunities to homeless children. WHAT GETS ME UP EVERY MORNING “The average age of a homeless person in the U.S. is nine years old. And on average these kids move three to four times a year.
