Basilea Basilea collection has been inspired by Basel, a city of great historical and cultural importance. Basel is home to the University of Basel, Switzerland’s oldest university established in 1460, as well as several world-renowned museums amongst which Kunstmuseum that made the first collection of art available to the public as early as 1661. Lex Lex is a special writing instrument dedicated to the legal profession and its associates. The Lex numbered collection has been crafted in Italian resin turned from solid bar. The symbolic scale of justice has been engraved on the large silver band on the barrel. A precious stone – ruby or sapphire – has been set on the silver clip.
