My Journal Entries by Logan Dannals 2015 2016 ADMS HAWK NATION
Journal Entry #1 Some things that I have interest in are baseball especially. I have a passion for baseball and I want to pursue it. Some other hobbies of mine are things like fishing, riding my fourwheeler, and I also love football. Golf is another sport that I love playing, I’m not all that great yet but I’m getting better. Those are some things that I love, and enjoy doing.
Journal Entry #2: One of my greatest accomplishments is being eligible to go to the World Series with my baseball travel ball team. This meant a lot to us because we had worked very hard to get there and in the end it all payed off. We are currently preparing to play in the Winter Nationals which is yet another great accomplishment of ours. We’ve persevered and gotten a whole lot better since we first started out so I’m very proud to say that I’m apart of the Sumter Chaos Travel Ball Team.
Journal Entry #3: One person that I really admire is my dad. He is a retired Chief Master Sgt in the Air Force, and served thirty years. He provides for my family and even in the toughest time he manages to keep his composure and continue on with his chest high because he knows that we all look up to him. He knows when we need to be disciplined but he also knows how to mess around and have fun. He is a very wise man and leads me in the right direction. I’m very thankful for my dad.
Journal Entry #4: I would describe myself as a very loving and outgoing person. If anyone ever needs someone to talk to or just to get some advice, than most of the time I’m more than willing to help. I love fishing and riding my fourwheeler, and just being outside. But my passion is baseball. I’m an athletic and outgoing person, that’s the best way I can describe myself.
Journal Entry #5: ` This Thanksgiving holiday was very special because I got to spend it in Florida with my family. We had a blast, I loved every bit of it. I had a feast for thanksgiving, I swear I couldn’t move. This thanksgiving was very special to me. I wont forget it.
Journal Entry #6: It really gets on my nerves when people act like they’re like your best friend, but then they go behind your back and start talking crap about you. If you really wanna be friends with someone, then that’s cool. But don’t be fake just so you can go tell everybody everything that they’ve told you. That’s a bad way to create a reputation for yourself.
Journal Entry #7: If I were invisible for an hour I would probably sneek onto a plane to where ever I wanted to go. I would walk into stores and walk right back out with the things that I want. I would scare people by talking to them but they won’t be able to see me. It would be pretty fun. I would very well enjoy myself.
Journal Entry #8: My favorite game show would have to be Family Feud. It shows everyday families reveal their stupid answers to the questions that are being asked. It’s really funny, but sometimes the answers that are given are so ridiculous that it actually makes me mad. The host Steve Harvey makes it ten times better. I recommend you watch Family Feud.
Journal Entry #9: During my free time I like to practice my baseball. All I can do is get better at it so I might as well get as good as I possibly can at it. I love baseball, it’s my passion. The only way I can pursue it and get to play in the MLB is to get better and better everyday so I need to start doing that now.
Journal Entry #10: My favorite pet is my dog Kanai because she is honestly the best dog I could have. She is the most loyal dog you could ever know. She isn’t noticeably aggressive because she wouldn’t hurt a fly, but we all know that if one of us was truly in danger than she would do whatever it took to protect us, which is perfect. She’s a beautiful chocolate lab with fluffy hair, she’s nine years old but is still in pretty good shape. I love my dog.
Journal Entry #11: This holiday I would like to go down to Florida and spend Christmas with my family. My whole family is gonna be there, including the ones from Honduras. So it would be like a big family reunion. It would be an amazing time, probably the best memory of my whole family together that we’ll ever have. And it just so happens that we’re going to Florida for Christmas.
Journal Entry #12: My holiday break was a lot of fun. I spent a week in Florida at my aunts house along with literally 50 other family members for Christmas. Then everybody came to my house for New Years. I also went ridin fourwheelers in the mountains with 2 of my buddies and we met up with some of our friends from upstate there. We camped out Saturday night in 18 degreee weather.
Journal Entry #13: My New Years resolution is to get as good at baseball as I can so that I can make the Sumter High baseball team. It’s always been a goal of mine to make that team and I’m finally at the point where I can try out. I’m pretty excited and I think that if I keep on playing baseball the way that I normally do and keep on getting better than I should have a pretty good shot at it. I’m trying out for first base and outfield. I will continue to get stronger, faster, and better.
Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; it becomes your destiny. —LaoTze Memories of 2015 2016 by Logan Dannals
