Parking / Drop-Offs 1. Is there a room or lot for parents who drop off children to wait during shows? There is no designated lot for drop off / pickup. 2. Can For’Em Club volunteers park in the Tigers Garage? Yes. However, parking must currently be covered by the volunteer. 3. How many shuttles will be running from the Tigers Garage and at what times? Currently, shuttles run from 11 a.m. – 2 a.m. The number of shuttles ranges from 1-5 based on call times. 4. Can you give more information about the Tigers Garage for event staff?Location: Tigers Garage (except 3rd floor)Address:Cost: 250 E. Fisher St., Detroit, MI 48201Shuttle: $5.00 - Parking can be paid by cash or credit as you enter the garage.Conflict Dates: Please Note: Prepaid vouchers for the DMC Garage will be accepted at the Tigers Garage. Shuttle service from the Tigers Garage to Little Caesars Arena will be provided from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 a.m. Tigers Garage shuttle drop-off/pickup location is on Montcalm Street under the bridge connecting the garage to Comerica Park (see map below). Little Caesars Arena shuttle drop-off/pickup location is at the intersection of Cass Ave. & Ledyard St. (see map below). The DMC Garage will continue be the designated parking location on dates when multiple events are occurring. Entry 1. Where do employees enter during the work day? Employees will enter the building through the Colleague Entry on the north side of the building off Sproat St. 2. If guests enter from the outside to eat in the exterior restaurants, is there going to be someone at the doors leading into the arena to check that they have a ticket? Yes, tickets will be scanned before allowing entry to the Via. 3. Where should handicap For’Em Club members enter? The Colleague Entry on the north side of the building is accessible. 4. Can employees take family/friends on their own mini tour while not on duty? This is only possible if the employee and family/friends have purchased a ticket to an event. Only public areas may be accessed. Anyone wishing to sign up for a public tour can find information at DetroitRedWings.com/Tours.Tickets 1. Are standing room tickets available for games and concerts? No. 2. How many companions can a handicap individual have? One ticketed companion. 3. Can minors be accompanied by a companion? Yes. If they’re a ticketed guest. 4. What age do kids need to have a ticket for entry? Guests 2 years of age and older need a ticket. 5. If you get season tickets, are the clubs included? Club access is included for Season Ticket Holders who have purchased tickets specifically for one of the clubs.Suites 1. What is the cost of a suite on an annual basis? This information is available for guests who are interested in purchasing a suite. 2. What is the maximum capacity of suites? 28. 3. Where are there casino-owned suites? Suite 4: MotorCity Casino Hotel, Suite 36: MGM Grand, Suite C: JACK’S Detroit. 4. Where is Mrs. Ilitch’s suite? Street Level Concourse. 4
5. What happens if a suite host does not get there before their guests? Will they be allowed to enter the suite or will they have to wait? Guests will be able to enter the suites, aside from the casino suites. Casino suite guests need to wait for the host to arrive.Food & Beverage 1. Did they eliminate the beer vendors that came to the seats? No, there are still beer vendors in the seats. 2. Does all the food for the suite have to come from the arena or can some come from the outside? It must come from within the arena through Delaware North Sportservice. 3. How do guests access the \"express pickup\" windows at some of the concession stands? This service will be implemented in The District Detroit App, but will not be available until later in October. 4. Is Little Caesars Arena going to have an app or some way for guests to order food from their seats? Yes, for concession stands on the Upper Concourse, but it will not be available until later in October. 5. Can employees bring home food from the event staff concession stand in the break room? Food purchased by employees from the event staff break room concession stand may be brought home. 6. Is there an employee food card? No. 7. Do employees get discounts on food? All employees receive discounts at the following locations with proper identification: a. 30% discount at Kid Rock’s Made in Detroit b. 30% discount at The District Market c. 15% dine-n discount at Mike’s Pizza d. 15% dine-in discount at Sports & Social Detroit 8. Can employees purchase food from the concession stands while on break and eat it in the event staff break room? Delaware North employees cannot, however, all Olympia Entertainment employees and other partners are able to purchase food from the concession stands. Remember, employees cannot eat or drink in guest view. 9. Is the 1701 Pub open to the public? Yes. 10.Will the prices at the BELFOR Training Center concession stand be the same as other areas in the arena? No, they will be similar to the Colleague Stand. 5
Michigan First Gondolas 1. What are the different levels used for? During Red Wings games, media will use the Michigan First East Gondola. The west side is sold to guests. 2. How high are the Michigan First Gondolas? They are a couple feet higher than the suites at Joe Louis Arena, but are much closer to the ice. See the diagram below. 3. What is the capacity of each area of the Michigan First Gondolas? Level One has 18 Gondola Boxes (ranging from 8-18 seats) – 182 Total Seats. Level Two has 188 seats and 15 ADA accessible seats.Retail 1. Will employees receive a merchandise discount? Full-time employees will receive a 30% discount at the main Team Store at Little Caesars Arena and Hockeytown Authentics in Troy. 2. Will there be an employee merchandise store on the event level? No. 3. Is there a retail store on the suite level? No. 4. Will concert and event merchandise be available in the Team Store? No. 5. Where are portable retail locations? Portable retail locations will be available for games in the Via near PORTALS 7 and 8. The Upper Concourse has portable retail locations by PORTALS 27, 46 and 57. 6
Colleague Breakroom / Lockers 1. Will there be a microwave and refrigerator in the event staff break room? No. 2. How many lockers are available? Who can use them? 500 lockers; Event employees can use them on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional lockers will be installed in the breakroom within the next few weeks. 3. If you don’t have a locker on event nights, is there a place to check coats? Olympia Entertainment employees can use the coat check at roll-up window 4. Employees of other companies are encouraged to store their coat and belongings in their work location in the area designated by their supervisor. 4. Is there a cost for the coat check? No, there is not a cost to check your coat at the uniform window. 5. Does the coat check include purses? No, we are unable to check purses. 6. Are employees able to bring backpacks into the event staff break room? Yes, backpacks can be brought in the break room. 7. Can DNC, Cordish, The Professional Group and Pistons employees use the event staff breakroom? Yes. 8. Is the flooring going to stay the same on the concourse and down the tunnel towards the colleague break room, or are they going to put some shiny finish or covering on it? We do not have this information at this time. 9. Are there going to be showers available for employees to use? No, there will not be showers available for employee use. 10. What are each of the roll-up windows on the Club Level used for? a. Window 1 – Olympia Entertainment Event Staff Check-In b. Window 2 – Security Check-In c. Window 3 – Olympia Entertainment Radio/Scanner Pickup d. Window 4 – Olympia Entertainment Coat Check 11. Can employees come in street clothing and change into their uniform at Little Caesars Arena? Yes. Changing areas are available in the event staff break room. 7
Timeclocks / Check-In 1. Which time clocks in the event staff break room belong to which companies? Timeclocks will have signage indicating the company they should be used for: a. Olympia Entertainment - 5 timeclocks adjacent to the roll-up windows (between northwest stairs/elevator and the event staff break room), and 5 timeclocks on the red wall in the event staff break room. b. Delaware North – on the wall to the left of the concession stand in the event staff break room. There are additional timeclocks on the Event Level adjacent to the northeast stairs. c. Pistons Staff – enter event staff break room, timeclock is on the left side of the first support pole. d. The Professional Group – enter event staff break room, turn left. Timeclocks are on either side of the support pole right outside the women’s restroom. 2. Why is there a distinction on the time clocks between Pistons and Red Wings? See the answer to Question 1 above regarding timeclocks. Timeclocks are to be used based on the company you work for, not the game, team or event that is occurring in the arena. 3. Can Olympia ushers use both sets of timeclocks in the hallways and breakroom? See the answer to Question 1 above. 4. Will employees know work assignments before the day of the event or when they check in? This will depend on the company you work for. Please see your supervisor for more information. 5. How early can employees clock in before their shift? This will depend on the company and department you work for. Please see your supervisor for more information.Ice/Arena Bowl 1. Are the boards from Joe Louis Arena coming to Little Caesars Arena? New boards are being used at Little Caesars Arena. 8
Clubs 1. Is the Labatt Blue Club on the north end of the building (adjacent to the brick wall) considered club seating or is it available for all fans? The Labatt Blue Club is open to the public, however the seats directly in front of the club are sold on a full-season basis. 2. Capacity of each of the Clubs? a. East Club - 772 b. Rehmann Club - 377 c. Comerica Players Club - 266 d. Huntington Legends Club - 124 3. Do guests need to scan every time they enter/exit their designated club? No, they’ll get scanned when they enter the building, then again when they enter the club where they’ll get a wristband for re-entry. 4. Will the Labatt Blue Club serve food? Yes, options include hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken shawarma, gyro sausage, jumbo pretzel, cheese cup, popcorn and peanuts. 5. Do Comerica Players Club guests have access to all clubs? No. Guests in each club will have a corresponding seat in the arena bowl and therefore cannot access other clubs. 6. Do guests with club access have access to concerts as well? Only Comerica Players Club season tickets holders will be offered the opportunity to purchase a ticket (not their specific location) to the Comerica Players Club for most concerts and events. Food and beverage within the club for concerts is a la carte, however. 7. Are there dress code requirements in the clubs? No.Maps 1. Will there be laminated maps of the arena for game days? No, employees can use the maps in the A - Z Guide.Little Caesars Arena Building 1. Are there any pewabic tiles in the building? Yes, there are two pewabic mosaics in the front of Building A. 2. Who is the Little Caesars Arena architect? HOK. 9
3. Who designed the manhole covers? East Jordan Iron Works. 4. What is considered the main entrance? While there are four large entries into the building, the entry that is estimated to have the highest foot traffic is the Comerica Entry Southeast. 5. Is the Air Temp always going to be on the cooler side or will it be warmer for Pistons games? Our goal is for it to be warmer with a target temp of about 70 degrees. 6. What is the average temperature in the arena during hockey games? NHL arenas are kept between 58 and 60 degrees. 7. Is the Budweiser Biergarten area the designated smoking space since there is no exit and re-entry for guests? Little Caesars Arena and the Budweiser Biergarten are non-smoking facilities. The No Re-Entry Policy applies for smokers. 8. Is the organ the original from Olympia Stadium? No, the organ is new. 9. Where is the security command center? The Security Command Center is on the north end of the building on the Club Level. 10. How can you get into the Mother’s Room? Do you need a swipe card? Can an employee use the room [if they are nursing]? Entry into the Mother’s Room is still being determined. Nursing employees can use the room. 11. Where is the Mother’s Room? Across from PORTAL 20, next to the DMC First Aid on the Street Level Concourse. This is the only Mother’s Room. 12. How many freight elevators are in the arena? Two total; the event level has one near the northwest stairs and one near the southeast stairs between the Storage Room and the Custodian Office. 13. What are the Budweiser Biergarten hours and how do guests access this area? The Budweiser Biergarten is only open to ticket holders from when doors open to close. Guests can access the Budweiser Biergarten by exiting the arena doors outside PORTALS 17 and 18.Detroit Red Wings 1. What is the significance of the previous players’ pictures posted on the walls in the locker room? Hall of Famers, etc.? This is a nod to the Detroit Red Wings’ history. 2. What is the official team medical facility? DMC. 10
Detroit Pistons 1. Where will the Pistons be practicing? A practice facility is being constructed in downtown Detroit, two miles from Little Caesars Arena. Until construction is done, the Pistons will continue to practice at their facility in Auburn Hills. 2. Will the Family Room be used for the Pistons’ families, too? Yes.Seating 1. Do the seats start with #1 in each section? Most sections start with #1, however, there are a few that do not. 2. Where are the handicap seats? ADA seating with wheelchair access is available at PORTALS 2 & 12, and there is ADA accessible seating throughout the arena. 3. How many portals are there? a. PORTALS 1-20 are on the Street Level Concourse b. PORTALS 21-72 are on the Upper Concourse c. PORTALS 73-77 are on the Labatt Blue Club Level d. PORTALS 78-82 are in the Michigan First Gondolas 4. At the top of the upper bowl, do the doors open from sections 225/226/227? No, these areas are used for storage. Guests with seats in the upper levels of the arena will access their seats through the PORTALS on the Upper Concourse. 5. Will there be ushers at the Voms (in the East, Rehmann and Players Clubs)? Yes.Full-Time Staff 1. Where do full-time employees park and enter? Parking for full-time employees is available in the Henry Street Garage and entry is the BELFOR Training Center entry or the Colleague Entry. 11
Security 1. What do we do in case of an emergency? Fire? Colleagues and guests should listen for instructions that will be played over the PA. In case of a fire, exit the building through the closest available safe route. 2. Where are emergency exits? Please see the evacuation documents in the Colleague Connect page on OlympiaEntertainment.com. 3. Where should someone who is handicapped go if there is an emergency and the elevators aren’t functional? DMC medics have stair chairs that can be deployed if elevators are unavailable. 4. Will there be a security checkpoint in the elevators to the East Club? Yes. 5. Do employees need to have a clear bag? If a clear bag is needed, where can someone get one? Colleagues will be held to the Little Caesars Arena Bag Policy: “Little Caesars Arena prohibits items such as bags and briefcases larger than 14” x 14” x 6” from entering the arena. Hard-sided bags of any kind are also prohibited. Diaper bags and medical bags are permitted. All persons and bags exiting or entering the arena will be subject to inspection. The Detroit Red Wings For‘Em Club was founded in 1949 by a group of enthusiastic hockey fans to support the Detroit Red Wings and to promote the sport of hockey. The club is an organization of people from all walks of life with a common avocation – the Detroit Red Wings. Those in the For’Em Club are unpaid volunteers used in a variety of capacities, some of which include the distribution of programs and giveaways at home games, assisting at events both at Little Caesars Arena and throughout the community and much more. 2. Where does the For’Em Club check in? This is still being determined, however, it will likely be the Colleague Entry on the north side of the building. 3. Where will For’Em Club badges and coat check/lockers be? This is still being determined. 12
4. Does the For’Em Club have access to the Labatt Blue Club? No. A viewing area for the For’Em volunteers is still being determined.Training/Tours 1. Can full-time employees come for additional tours/learning? Yes, make-up tours are being determined. 2. Will the notes from the tour be available to attendees? Yes, this information is available here on the Colleague Connect page.Scoreboard 1. Will the scoreboard be moved for basketball, hockey and concerts? Yes, the scoreboard has different heights depending on the event.Marketing 1. Will there be sponsors on the boards? Yes.General Questions 1. Are there smoking areas? Little Caesars Arena is a non-smoking facility. 2. When do alcohol sales end? Alcohol sales will likely end during the 3rd period of hockey games, 3rd quarter of basketball games or near the end of a concert. 3. Is there an area for kids with disabilities (autistic, etc.) who have sensitivities to noise? That is still being determined. 4. What Wi-Fi network is available within the building? The District Detroit XFINITY Wi-Fi. 5. Elevator usage for event staff? Event employees can use the guest elevators throughout the building. 6. Who is eligible to participate in the 50/50 raffle? All employees are permitted to participate in the 50/50 raffle. Anyone purchasing $20 or more in the 50/50 raffle can use their credit card to pay. 7. Can someone working in the Box Office use a water bottle if necessary? Yes. 8. How many ATMs are in the arena? There are six ATMs inside Little Caesars Arena, at the following locations: 13
