THE EVALUATION OF THE TEACHERS’ QUESTIONNAIRE The aim of the questionnaire is to detect the attitudes and knowledge about some important topics related to the project of the teachers. The questionnaire of the teachers taking part in this project is applied twice as post and pre-tests at the January and May, 2021. “How many years have you been doing projects on the eTwinning Platform? Do you have the quality label?” PRE TEST POST TEST As the results indicates that there were 20 % of first year experienced teachers at eTwinning projects. As an expected increase occurs at the ratio of the teachers defining themselves as non experienced teachers. There were also 33% of experienced teachers in the beginning. This is a good opportunity for a new etwinner teacher to have the chance of working and collaborating within an eTwinning project with the experienced partners. This is a good ratio as thought in terms of collaboration. “Did you have a chance to work with student groups with different disabilities before?” PRE TEST POST TEST This question refers to detect the teachers’ experience with special needed students. Since there were also schools for special needed students, the amount of the change in this question is not as expected. 1) “I have ................ knowledge and skill level about Web 2.0 tools” PRE TEST POST TEST This project aims to enhance both the students’ and teachers’ ability to use the web 2,0 tools efficiently and actively. As seen in the chart, there were ones and beginners of 33 %. While the beginners’ ratio is decreasing and the ones with non information are disappearing , as expected; the ones with intermediate and advanced level are increasing up to 40 % .
2) “I use different search strategies to find various digital resources and web 2.0 tools to enrich my course content.” PRE TEST POST TEST At the beginning of the project the results mainly cumulated around the neutral and agree answers. However at the end as seen in the pie-chart, there are just agree and strongly agree answers. This shows us the teachers get used to the web 2,0 tools and experienced the help of digital sources while instructing. 3) “I design and implement activities that will make the lesson fun by using digital resources and Web2.0 tools effectively.” PRE TEST POST TEST Although the amount of the ones saying “agree” are decreasing after the project from 66 % to 53% ;the chart shows us that the number of one’s saying “neutral and strongly agree” are strongly increase to 26%. The answers of disagree is disappeared at the end of the project. This means that the teachers changed their ideas about the use of digital sources and Web 2.0tools at both school and home. This is also a good result of the project to help the teachers improve themselves and self developments. 4) “I give digital-sourced and Web 2.0 tool-based works to my students to do at home about the topics I have covered in my lessons.” PRE TEST POST TEST
The pre test results shows that there were teachers that don’t give Web2.0 tool based homeworks and activities. However this ratio became to zero point at the end. Although there are teachers still neutral and the percentage of agreed teachers about the question , the rapid increase of 26,7 % in the amount of teachers said “strongly agree” results in the way of their ideas and changes in their teaching methods. 5) “My students have high digital competencies in the process of both preparing and presenting activities.” PRE TEST POST TEST Although there are different ranges of answers at the beginning of the project, there are changes in the percentages. For instance there is a decrease in the disagreed teachers about 13 % and an increase in 40 % in agreed teachers. This is a satisfied result of the project that helped the students improved their digital abilities in both preparing and presenting activities. 6) “I am sensitive to the environmental issues.” PRE TEST POST TEST There is an apparent increase both saying agreed and strongly agreed teachers being sensitive to the environmental issues. The raise in strongly agreed is almost 27% and the drop in agreed is about 7%. It proves that the project helped teachers to develop positive attitude toward environmental issues. 7) “I try to make the people around me aware of the environmental issues.” PRE TEST POST TEST As seen in the chart, the amount of teachers answered “strongly agreed” for making aware people around about the environment is increased from 33 % to 87%. This is an enormous result of the project to reach the aims.
8) “I follow scientific studies such as seminars, panels and conferences on environmental issues and I try to participate.” PRE TEST POST TEST The range of the answers changes at the beginning of the project , but there are just two answers at the end; like “agree” and “strongly agree”. As seen in the chart the strongly agreed teachers wanting to follow environmental events increased to 47 % at the end of project. 9) “I use the information I have acquired new on the environmental issues in my daily life.” PRE TEST POST TEST The project aims also to enhance all the participants in the project to enhance their knowledge about the nature. The comparison at this question as seen above, the amount of agreed decreased about 20% , however the strongly agreed ones increased from 27 % to 73 %. 10) “Environmental issues should be given more weight in education and training processes.” PRE TEST POST TEST This question refers to the teachers wants in the curriculum of the lessons in terms of environment. The increase in the strongly agreed on that more emphasize should be given to the environmental issues is about 63% to 73 %. This result shows the effectiveness of the project in making teachers more active in teaching and learning processes.
