As a young girl, I liked cooking, shopping, and playing ‘teacher-teacher’ with my sisters. I am also extremely passionate about travelling: I have travelled to 45 countries till date! In my spare time, I also enjoy watching cookery shows and travel videos. Offlate, I have been indulging in travel vlogs more so, now that we are all cooped up at home. They are a window to the whole world; they inspire new ideas and innovations for my subject and the school. At present, I am watching lots of Korean videos. Their vibrant culture inspires me and gives me access to knowledge that I can share with the school. Q) What according to you is the role of a Q) Why did you choose this profession? parent in the school? The education and overall subject too and so invariably, it became my passion to be a History teacher myself. development of a child work both ways, hence it is important to work as a team Q) What are your major strengths as a principal with open communication. A} I am a good listener and I trust people. I find it prudent to set goals, not only for myself but also for others, to grow and prosper together as a team. I always come from a space of empathy and as a leader should, I have a good vision and aspirations for my team and myself. I beieve that these are my strengths as a principal.
Q) How do you balance both work life and family life? A} When you like doing something, it does not remain as a job but becomes a pursuit of passion instead. Despite being in this profession for the past 25 years, I have never felt that I am ‘working’ so to speak. Sachin Tendulkar, for instance, would never tire of playing cricket. Consider the famous tabla maestro, Zakir Hussain— would he ever consider playing tabla merely as his occupation? Similarly, my going to school and delivering my subject always felt like I’m doing something that I absolutely love, and this love also naturally extends to my Euro-family as well. My family at home too knows this and they always support me in all my endeavours. Q) What are the precautionary measures you would take after the reopening of school? A} We have S.O.P.s in place. The management has formed a safety team too. We are already following all the norms and protocols in the absence of children. When parents and teachers do visit the school, all the guidelines will be taken care of. We have already conducted exams for 9th and 10th standards, along with the IGCSE final exams, following all the safety measures. Hygiene is of paramount importance to our school, hence due measures for the same are taken and implemented on a daily basis. Social distancing is going to be a challenge because I am sure that children will not listen even if I tell them not to hug their friends, whom they haven’t met or seen in the last 2 years! Nevertheless, we all must exercise cautioun. Parents must not send their unwell wards to school. Rest assured, the child will not miss out on anything since everything will be updated on the Argus app. It is of utmost priority for me and the management to make things very safe when you all do come back. We are all eagerly awaiting your return to school. Q) What are your top priorities as a principal? A} At present, it is to make online learning as engaging, as fruitful, and as meaningful as possible. Safety is my main agenda during this pandemic. So once the school begins, keeping it safe for you all would automatically then become my foremost priorty. Finally, I also wish to say that I constantly have something or the other materializing out of my magic box so that my children don’t find it cumbersome, but instead find it super fun and incredibly interesting to come back to school.

Most Memorable Trip with my family I cannot forget my last trip just before school reopening. I went to visit my grandparents to Ahmedabad in 2nd week of June. My father drove us to Ahmedabad in our car. Due to Covid pandemic, there was not much of a traffic on the highway. On our way to Ahmedabad, we ate variety of delicious mangoes near Valsad. At Ahmedabad we had a family reunion as I met my grandparents, uncle, aunt, and cousins for the first time after the Covid pandemic, it is been almost 2 years. I spent 5 days playing with my 2 young cousins in the daytime, swimming in the evening and watching movies at night every day on a projector home cinema. My grandmother gave us jalebi fafda and chorafali for breakfast and we enjoyed mangoes and puri and many of her special cuisines. We headed back to Mumbai on the sixth day. We made a stopover at the Kevadiya colony near Baroda and visited the magnificent Statue of Unity. Statue of Unity is a colossal statue of independence of activist sardar Vallabh bhai Patel near Sardar Sarovar dam. The weather was fantastic with drizzling first rain of the monsoon. We ate delicious “Kathiyawadi cuisines” on the highway. We played antakshari in the car. We followed Covid precautions throughout our trip.

Robotic Process Automation What is RPA? Robot process automation is a technology designed to automate regular input-based business operations by configuring software robots or bots. These bots utilize the user interface to emulate a human working within digital systems, create a path to capture data, manipulate applications, and complete a business process. These bots are better in efficiency and accuracy as compared to their human counterparts. Why is RPA transformative? RPA technology is changing how the world gets work done. Software robots—instead of people—do repetitive and lower-value work like logging into applications and systems, moving files and folders, extracting, copying, and inserting data, filling in forms, and completing routine analyses and reports. Advanced robots can even perform cognitive processes like interpreting text, engaging in chats and conversations, understanding unstructured data, and applying advanced machine learning models to make complex decisions. Analysis LIFE CYCLE OF RPA - Development Testing
Advantages of RPA - 1-GUI and no coding -RPA doesn’t really require coding knowledge. So, in an organization looking to automate clerical processes, the employees can be taught how to create bots using GUI (Graphical User Interface) or varied intuitive wizards. This ensures timely delivery of tasks, without having a very long process of creation. 2-Utmost Security-The entire data on RPA which is accessed by either bots or developers of the team is designed to prevent any malicious tampering. All data that is stored for automating and executing bots is stored within a robust user access management system and can only be accessed by authorized IDs only. 3- Consistency- Routine task are performed the same way each time 4- Reliability- Bots work 24*7 without interruption 5- Increased productivity- process cycle times are much faster compared to manual process approaches To conclude we can say that the technology allows for greater flexibility and scalability within the organization with the lesser turnaround time for completion of tasks. These bots created in the RPA are easy to train. The more an organization depends on them, the higher is the possibility of uniform processes and accurate business predictability.
