Welcome to the Isle of Bute Artists’ Collective IBAC has thirty members from the Isle of Bute, in this, our ninth year. The range of talent on such a small island is astonishing but then, Bute is an inspiring place. Our artists work in various workspaces; from dedicated studios to corners of living rooms. This brochure highlights creatives who work in a huge variety of materials – wood, glass, paint, wool, clay, ink, fabric, precious metals and almost everything else you can think of - to produce wonderful, original art. From jewellery to prints, musical instruments to paintings, furniture, fabrics and pottery to boats with beaded sails, you will find all sorts of beautiful offerings. We hope you will visit our artists online or get in touch with them personally to ask them about their work. We may not be able to have our Studio Trail in 2020, but our artists are still happy to sell their work or take commissions. We look forward to welcoming you back to our studios next year.
