EN INGS TO OW. . . Francis’ Laudato Si` Small yet strong in the love of God, like Saint Francis of Assisi, all of us, as Christians are called to watch over and protect the fragile world in which we live and all its people. -Pope Francis WHAT IS L AU DAT I O SI` ALL ABOUT?
G R AT I T U D E I give thanks to God for creation and for being wonderfully made. Where did I feel God’s presence in creation today? AWA R E N E S S I ask for the grace to see creation as God does – in all its splendor and suffering. Do I see the beauty of creation and hear the cries of the earth and the poor? U N D E R S TA N D I N G I ask for the grace to look closely to see how my life choices impact creation and the poor and vulnerable. What challenges or joys do I experience as I recall my care for creation? How can I turn away from a throwaway culture and instead stand in solidarity with creation and the poor? CONVERSION I ask for the grace of conversion towards ecological justice and reconciliation. Where have I fallen short in caring for creation and my brothers and sisters? How do I ask for a conversion of heart? R E C O N C I L IAT I O N I ask for the grace to reconcile my relationship with God, creation and humanity, and to stand in solidarity through my actions. How can I repair my relationship with creation and make choices consistent with my desire for reconciliation with creation? P R AY E R I offer a closing prayer for the earth and the vulnerable in our society.

Work has many benefits but what personal benefits does your work provide your life? How can physical work effect your personal growth? How do you prioritize self-care? Do you feel that rest is an important part of how you practice your faith? What responsibility do you feel towards your fellow man, the earth, and ultimately all of creation? How does this effect your daily life? NS What do you think the goal was in your creation by God in His image and likeness? How does this effect your perspective of your own life?
Together, we pledge our commitment to raising awarness about the stewardship of creation. -Pope Francis
