Power is knowledge By: Tyler Mogen
Nonrenewable Energy Resources Nonrenewable energy useful things/valuable supplies, like coal, nuclear, oil, and natural gas, are available in limited supplies. This is usually due to the long time it takes for them to be refilled. Renewable useful things/valuable supplies are refilled naturally and over (compared to other things) short periods of time.
inexhaustible energy resources The definition of unlimited useful things/valuable supplies is a valuable thing from nature that is not an endless supply. wind, sun, solar energy, tides, and (related to the heat deep in the Earth) energy.
renewable energy resources Renewable energy is energy that is collected from renewable useful things/valuable supplies, which are naturally refilled on a human timescale, such as sunlight, wind, rain, tides, waves, and(related to the heat deep in the Earth) heat. Solar energy, (related to the heat deep in the Earth)energy, Wind power, HydroPower, Solar Power, (fuel from plants), Wave Power, (related to the heat deep in the Earth) Power.
Advantages Wind energy It's a clean fuel source. Wind energy doesn't (add unwanted things to/make dirty) the air like power plants that depend on burning (in an explosion) of (coal, natural gas, oil, etc.), such as coal or natural gas.
Disadvantages of wind energy It's a threat to wildlife, and it's not a constant energy source, and etc...
Advantages of hydroelectric energy It's a clean fuel source, and it won't (add unwanted things to/make dirty) the air like power plants that burn (coal, natural gas, oil, etc.)
Disadvantages of hydroelectric energy Expensive, Droughts, Limited Reservoirs, and etc...
Advantages of solar energy Renewable Energy Source. Among all the benefits of solar panels, the most important thing is that solar energy is a truly renewable energy source. Reduces Electricity Bills, (many different kinds of people or things) Applications, Low Maintenance Costs, Technology Development, and Weather Dependent.
Disadvantages of solar energy Cost. The first cost of buying-related a solar system is fairly high. Solar Energy Storage Is Expensive.Uses lots of space. Connected with Pollution.
Advantages of geothermal energy It can be pumped back into the ground. It is also clean energy. They do not produce pollution (that heats up the Earth) that can be harmful to the atmosphere.
Disadvantages of geothermal energy Pollution (that heats up the Earth) below Earth's surface can possibly move to the surface and into the atmosphere.
Advantages of biomass energy (energy from) wood and plant material used as a fuel reduces the need for (coal, natural gas, oil, etc.) for the production of heat, steam, and electricity for (where there are lots of homes), industrial and farming-based use.
Disadvantages of biomass energy Farming-based wastes will not be available if the basic crop is no longer grown. Added/more work is needed in areas such as gathering/collecting methods.
Advantages of coal energy Coal energy is a low-priced energy source because of the coal's stable price compared to other fuel sources. Ditching coal Energy
Disadvantages of coal energy The burning of coal is not (related to surrounding conditions or the health of the Earth) friendly because it produces harmful (things produced along with something else) and gas (things sent out or given off) such as sulfur dioxide, carbon dioxide and nitrogen oxide that causes pollution to (the health of the Earth/the surrounding conditions) including polluted (with acid) rain.
Advantages of Oil energy High Energy Density – Oil has one of the highest energy densities which means that a small amount of oil can produce a large amount of energy.
Disadvantages of oil energy Oil is a non-renewable source of energy. This means that one day we will probably run out of oil extracted from the ground. Burning oil produces carbon dioxide gas.
Advantages of natural gas energy Natural gas is (good for the planet) because it burns cleaner than other (coal, natural gas, oil, etc.)
Disadvantages of natural gas Flammable and Poisonous: Natural gas leaks can be proven to be very dangerous.
Advantages of nuclear energy Nuclear power generation does give off (compared to other things) low amounts of carbon dioxide (CO2).
Disadvantages of nuclear energy The problem of radioactive waste is still an unsolved one.
