Humphead Wrasse A Children's Story By: Blake Lewis
Henry’s Home This is Henry The Humpback Wrasse. He can easily be found in Southeastern Asia among coral reefs because of his large mass. His favorite foods are mollusks and starfish which he likes to harass. He has the ability to change genders to reproduce… the whole situation is morass.
Henry’s Help Henry is very valuable to coral reef safety. He preys on harmful organisms that harm the ecosystem, so thank ye. However, his species is dying which doesn’t bring him glee.
Henry’s Happiness Henry is very large but only feeds upon small creatures. If you ever stumble upon his species, there is no need to get the jeepers. He would never pose as a threat to homosapien’s. Even if he encountered spooky aliens.
Henry’s Harassment The amount of Humphead Wrasse is a decreasing number. Fishermen sell them because it is a very expensive meat to cure hunger. Because of the slow reproductive rate and high amount of fishing, Henry and his pals may not be here much longer.
Henry’s Heroes To the majority of people, saving the Humphead Wrasse is not an important wish. However in Malaysia, the World WildLife Organization is doing things to save this fish. They began to buy back the captured Wrasse to release. Since 2010, there has been nearly a 900 population increase.
