Article Body:Lessons LearnedI wanted to discuss some hard lessons I learnedthis week in hopes of helping others not make thesame mistakes. It was not a real bad week but itdid pose some challenges that needed to be met!The week started out with an add campaign. Goodway to start of. One should really have anunderstanding of how an auto responder works orit is pointless to use one. About 5 days into mycampaign I realize I am directing my prospects tothe wrong email address!! You guessed it, noleads, no follow ups, waste of $300 +.Lesson learned: Learn your auto responder, setit up, test your system and then send your adds.My second project was creating an article and
distributing the article. This went ok until Irealized I was only submitting 2/3 抯 of thearticle. When I reviewed it I neglected toensure it was all there. I would have had toscroll down to see the end. I got in a hurry andor became complacent!! My mistake and a lot oftime and effort down the tubes. I must apologizeto all the editors who reviewed the article andto any readers that got started and could notfinish it. My sincere apologizes. I had someother directories reject the article due tospacing requirements of paragraphs.Lesson learned: Pay attention to what you aredoing and take the time to do some QA (qualityassurance). Understand the terms and conditionsfor article submission!Exchanging links with other sites is a soundbusiness proposition that should be done at leasteach week if not everyday. My link software wentnuts for some reason and was unusable. I
reviewed the manual and after careful study of myweb panel I decided to get a free ftp download andattempt to fix it. By the way what 抯 writepermission and what do they mean by true? Onlykidding, I know a little about them now! Ifollowed the book and wouldn 抰 you know, it didnot fix the problem? What to do now? I sent anemail to support, got impatient and re did the fix.I got to see my soft ware but could not use it.O.K. making progress! Oh, what is download file,fix and upload mean? It was the answer to myproblem!Lesson learned: Trial and error. I got luckyand fixed the problem. Stick with it and bepatient.
