About Us The Office of Early Childhood Initiatives wants all children in Milwaukee County to have the same opportunities as everyone else and not be limited by their circumstances. We start a campaign called \"Mighty Small Moments\" to meet parents with opportunities for meaningful interaction anytime, anywhere. We also work with many other programs like LENA Program, Welcome to Milwaukee, and Bridges to School.

A Program To Give Milwaukee’s Babies A Bright Start Welcome to Milwaukee The birth of a baby plunges parents into a new world. Feeding and diapers. Doctors and checkups. Car seats and sleep. With all the immediate needs, preparing the baby for school hardly makes the radar. The Welcome to Milwaukee program distributes care packages to the families of babies born at the St. Joseph Campus of Ascension SE Wisconsin Hospital. The packages arm parents with information about early brain development, plus the resources they need to put it into practice. So every baby can start life poised to thrive.

Socialization Socializing with other people than Overcome Build the child’s parents in a secure Anxiety Confidence environment is a crucial aspect of the following areas. Parents, like us, instinctively know that it is important to expose our children to other children and to help facilitate their integration into their own social groups.
