One shows the emblem of the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) which is set against the background of the four-fold Florian’s Cross, itself a variation of the more sharply defined Maltese Cross. This derivationispurportedto have come from the Knights of Malta defending themselves against the Saracen’s use of fire as an offensive weapon. The second shows three firefighters on the back of a moving hook and ladder truck with a large engravable space above those figures that can be used to personalize the coin as a gift. Both are 39mm in diameter and have a beautiful, antiqued bronze finish. The IAFF logo design has been enhanced with red and white enamels.
