ΛΟΥΚΙ∆ΟΥ—ΜΠΟΥΡΝΤΑ Page 2Έχοντας μια διαδρομή 36 ετών στο χώρο της ξενόγλωσσης εκπαίδευσης, στόχος μου πάντα ήταν και είναι να κάνω τα παιδιάν’ αγαπήσουν τη γνώση.Αναγνωρίζοντας τη διαφορετικότητα του κάθε ατόμου, οι συνεργάτες μου και εγώ δημιουργήσαμε ένα εκπαιδευτικό πρό-γραμμα, το οποίο να καλύπτει τις μαθησιακές ανάγκες του κάθε μαθητή ξεχωριστά.Ακόμα από τις τάξεις των Kids και Birdies διαμορφώνουμε ειδικά προγράμματα διδασκαλίας με εικονογραφημένα βιβλία, μεεικόνες, με τραγούδια, με ήρωες παραμυθιών. Έτσι πετυχαίνουμε την εξοικείωση του παιδιού στο άκουσμα της ξένης γλώσ-σας, στοιχείο πολύ βασικό για την παραπέρα σχέση του με αυτήν.Στις μεγαλύτερες τάξεις με σεβασμό για το μαθητή, υπευθυνότητα και προσφέροντας πάντα υπηρεσίες ποιότητας, κατα-φέραμε να συνδυάσουμε την παραδοσιακή μέθοδο διδασκαλίας με την ολιστική προσέγγιση έτσι ώστε η διδασκαλία μας ναχαρακτηρίζεται από αποδοτικότητα, ζωντάνια, δημιουργικότητα, με απώτερο στόχο την εξασφάλιση της εκμάθησης της ξένηςγλώσσας και της επιτυχίας των μαθητών μας στα πτυχία.Και ενώ μία φορά και ένα καιρό ο δάσκαλος ήταν αυθεντία και μαζί με τον παπά και τον πρόεδρο αποτελούσαν τη δυναμικήτριπλέτα κάθε τοπικής κοινωνίας, εμείς κάθε που βραδιάζει, αναλογιζόμαστε τις τάξεις μας, σκεφτόμενοι τι περισσότερο πε-ριμένουν οι μαθητές από εμάς, τι πρέπει να κάνουμε παραπάνω, γιατί δε θυμούνται καλά τα ανώμαλα ρήματα!! Με αυτές τιςσκέψεις θα κοιμηθούμε και το πρωί θα υποσχεθούμε στον εαυτό μας πως στα επόμενα επιμορφωτικά σεμινάρια όχι μόνο θαπάμε, αλλά θα συμμετέχουμε ενεργά και αδιαλείπτως αρνούμενοι τις σειρήνες των φίλων συναδέλφων και τη μυρωδιά τουκαφέ. Με την πρώτη ευκαιρία και θυσιάζοντας την προσωπική μας ώρα βρισκόμαστε σε μία σάλα σεμιναρίου και ακούμε μεενδιαφέρον τον εισηγητή .Ότι τα λέει ωραία, τα λέει αλλά μπορούν να γίνουν αυτά μέσα σε μία τάξη φροντιστηρίου;Στόχος δικός μας είναι να προσπαθούμε για το καλύτερο.Φροντίζουμε αρχικά να έχουμε άρτια οργανωμένες αίθουσες με μαθητές ευσυνείδητους, εργατικούς, ήσυχους –προσπαθούμε πολύ γι’αυτό- και πάνω απ’όλα προσπαθούμε να εμπνέουμε στους μαθητές μας υψηλά κίνητρα για μάθηση.Ως αρκετά σημαντικό κρίνουμε την ανταλλαγή απόψεων και κοινών προβλημάτων μεταξύ των καθηγητών. Κατά τακτά χρονι-κά διαστήματα οργανώνουμε κοινές συναντήσεις οι οποίες είναι ωφέλιμες και πρακτικές επειδή αντιμετωπίζουμε υπαρκτάπροβλήματα και ανταλλάσσουμε απόψεις.Στο πλαίσιο μιας τέτοιας συνεργασίας αναλαμβάνουμε κοινά projects καθώς επίσης οργανώνουμε γιορτές και δραστηριότη-τες.Επιλέγουμε επιπλέον υλικό που φέρνουμε στην τάξη είτε για ενεργοποίηση των μαθητών είτε για ανάδειξη πολιτισμικώνστοιχείων.Γνωρίζοντας πως η γλώσσα είναι ένας ζωντανός οργανισμός που συνεχώς ανανεώνεται και εξελίσσεται η ανάγκη για επιμόρ-φωση και σε θέματα γλωσσικού αντικειμένου είναι ουσιαστική.Επιμορφωτικά και πολιτιστικά ταξίδια στην Αγγλία ή στις Γερμανία και Γαλλία αποτελούν ενδεχομένως ουτοπία για τους μα-θητές του Κέντρου μας στο Χορτιάτη κάτω από τις υπάρχουσες οικονομικές συνθήκες , αλλά θα πρέπει κάποια στιγμή να γί-νει.Εκείνο που τονίζω στις καθηγήτριες και καθηγητές ως πρωταρχικό είναι να φροντίζουν για την ενίσχυση κινήτρων για σχο-λική επιτυχία των μαθητών τους.Ενθαρρύνουμε τους μαθητές μας, δίνουμε έμφαση στην ουσία της μάθησης περισσότερο από τους βαθμούς, χρησιμοποιού-με ενθαρρυντικά σχόλια με τα οποία τονίζουμε τη πρόοδο και τη προσπάθειά τους.Έχουμε υψηλές αλλά ρεαλιστικές προσδοκίες για τους μαθητές μας.

Πιστεύουμε ότι ο βαθμός στον οποίοο εκπαιδευτικός καταφέρνει να δημιουργήσει ένα μαθησιακό σκηνικό προσανατολισμένο στην τέλεια μάθηση αποτελεί δεί-κτη της επαγγελματικής ικανότητάς του.Για την επιλογή του διδακτικού προσωπικού δίνουμε μεγάλη βαρύτητα. Η προσωπικότητα του δασκάλου ήταν παλιότερατο πρώτιστο κριτήριο για την επιλογή του, είτε για να εργαστεί στο σπίτι (οικοδιδάσκαλος ), είτε σε κάποιο ιδιωτικό σχολείοεκείνης της εποχής. Σήμερα πιστεύω ότι το βάρος πέφτει περισσότερο στην ενδοταξική του συμπεριφορά και στην ικανότη-τά του να προσαρμόζεται στα ενδιαφέροντα των μαθητών του.Στο κέντρο μας αντιλαμβανόμαστε την εκπαίδευση ως μία ανάγκη απόλυτα συνδεδεμένη με τις εξελίξεις και τις απαιτήσειςτης κοινωνίας. Έτσι βλέπουμε μπροστά και διαμορφώνουμε ένα ολοκληρωμένο και ευέλικτο σχολείο ικανό να παρέχειξενόγλωσση εκπαίδευση με τρόπο μαθητοκεντρικόΕπειδή κάθε αξιόπιστη σχέση βασίζεται στην εμπιστοσύνη και στο σεβασμό, λειτουργούμε πάντα με κριτήριο και γνώμονατην καλύτερη δυνατή εξυπηρέτηση των μαθητών μας, ανταποκρινόμενοι απόλυτα στις ανάγκες τους με χαμόγελο, αισιοδοξί-α και αγάπη. Βρισκόμαστε διαρκώς δίπλα τους με προσοχή και κατανόηση σε οτιδήποτε τους απασχολεί, με συνεχή ενθάρ-ρυνση, ενδιαφέρον και φροντίδα.Συνέπεια & αποτελεσματικότηταΈχοντας εμπνεύσει σε όλους τους ανθρώπους που εργάζονται μαζί μας μία ροπή προς την τελειότητα και καλλιεργώντας συ-στηματικά ένα αίσθημα αυτοβελτίωσης, αντιμετωπίζουμε τους μαθητές μας με ειλικρίνεια, σοβαρότητα και υπευθυνότητα.Διαποτισμένοι με αυτή τη φιλοσοφία τηρούμε τις υποσχέσεις μας, εγγυόμαστε την ασφαλή εκπαιδευτική τους πορεία όσοναφορά τις ξένες γλώσσες και ανταποκρινόμαστε έμπρακτα σε όλες τις προσδοκίες του ιδίων και των οικογενειών τους.Αγάπη για την ΕκπαίδευσηΕπιδεικνύουμε με συστηματικό τρόπο την προσήλωσή μας στις αρχές της Εκπαίδευσης με συνεχή επιμόρφωση του προσωπι-κού μας, με υιοθέτηση καινοτόμων μεθόδων διδασκαλίας και παροχή υψηλής ποιότητας εκπαιδευτικών υπηρεσιών.Επαγγελματισμός & ΔημιουργικότηταΜε ομαδικό πνεύμα και θετική ενέργεια θέτουμε καθημερινά υψηλούς στόχους για τον εαυτό μας και το Κέντρο μας. Μεδημιουργική διάθεση, όραμα και όρεξη βρίσκουμε τρόπους να τους επιτύχουμε.Οργάνωση & ΣτρατηγικήΕπειδή τίποτα δεν μπορεί να αφεθεί στην τύχη, με προσεκτική μελέτη των δυνατοτήτων, των απαιτήσεων και των στόχων τουκάθε μαθητή σχεδιάζουμε ένα μακροσκελές πλάνο των κινήσεων που πρέπει να γίνουν για να φθάσουμε στο ποθητό αποτέ-λεσμα. Είμαστε λοιπόν περήφανοι για το έργο που επιτελούμε και καθημερινά αυτό το αίσθημα υπεροχής ενισχύεται από τηνεμπιστοσύνη και την αποδοχή που εκφράζουν απέναντί μας οι γονείς και παιδιά .Το Κέντρο μας έχει μακρόχρονη παράδοση επιτυχιών, που δεν έχει καμία σχέση με όλους εκείνους που οψίμως ασχολούνταιμε τις Ξένες Γλώσσες και ταυτόχρονα αποτελεί εχέγγυο μιας ασφαλούς πορείας μέχρι την απόκτηση του πολυπόθητουπτυχίου.Έχοντας στο ενεργητικό μας:• μια τεράστια εκπαιδευτική εμπειρία• εκατοντάδες μαθητές που πρώτευσαν και αρίστευσαν και απέκτησαν πιστοποιητικό γλωσσομάθειας• ένα υπερσύγχρονο εκπαιδευτικό περιβάλλον, εξοπλισμένο με τα πλέον εξελιγμένα διδακτικά μέσατο Κέντρο μας έχει καθιερωθεί στη συνείδηση των γονέων ως ένα Κέντρο Ξένων Γλωσσών πρότυπων εκπαιδευτικών υπηρε-σιών που διασφαλίζει σε όλους τους μαθητές της, μια απόλυτα επιτυχημένη πορεία στις ξένες γλώσσες.Μια διδακτική ακόμα περίοδος έφτασε στο τέλος της. Η διεύθυνση του κέντρου μας, οι καθηγήτριες οι καθηγητές και το διοι-κητικό προσωπικό θεωρούμε απαραίτητο να σας ευχαριστήσουμε για την αποδοτική συνεργασία που είχαμε.Μα πάνω από όλα θέλουμε να ευχαριστήσουμε τους μαθητές μας για την προσπάθεια που έχουν καταβάλλει, άλλος μεγαλύ-τερη και άλλος μικρότερη, για την εμπιστοσύνη τους και την αγάπη που εκδηλώνουν σε καθημερινή βάση.Ο στόχος είναι κοινός. We wanted to reward our students' efforts this year and just like last year, we bought free chocolate, strawberry and banana ice creams for our smarties! Mother's Day is celebrated on different days depend- ing on the countries where it is celebrated. It is held on the second Sunday of May in many countries, such as Australia, Canada and the United States. It is held exactly three weeks before Easter Sunday in the United Kingdom. The modern holiday of Mother's Day was first cele- brated in 1908, when Anna Jarvis held a memorial for her mother at St Andrew's Methodist Church in Grafton, West Virginia.In 1914, Woodrow Wilson signed a proclamation designating Mother's Day as a national holiday to honor mothers. Although Jar- vis was successful in founding Mother's Day, she be- came resentful of the commercialization of the holi- day. Mothers normally get presents on this day.
