K.R.Mangalam World School , Faridabad Month : July Weekly Synopsis Week 1 (4.07.22 – 8. 07.22) Goodbye Vacation ! Hello to School ! Learning Outcomes:- • Students were able to develop a sense of greeting each other. • Students were able to develop social skills. Topic – Welcome Back to School Takeaway Activities – Students were welcomed back to school after summer vacations. To spark the creativity in our little Mangalamites, they were asked to make butterfly takeaway craft. In this craft, they pasted the different body parts of a butterfly like wings, eyes and body etc.



“Art is not what you see , but what you make others see.” Learning Outcomes:- • Students were able to explore different combination of colours. Topic – Landscape Colouring Activities – The facilitator will give scenery colouring page in the Art File. The students will choose their colouring tool and the facilitator will guide them with the skill of colouring within the lines.



“Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn. Enhancing Linguistic skills through play way learning.” Learning Outcomes:-  Students were able to identify the spelling patterns with word families.  Students were able to discover new words and use the same in their daily use. Topic – A vowel family words (AP, AT, AN) Activities – Family Tree  Cards Sorting Word Hunt  Lets us Trace the words Let us Practice Reading



\"A Sphere is a three dimensional object that is round in shape\". Learning Objectives:-  Students were able to recognize and name different shapes.  Students were able Identify shapes they see in their classroom and surroundings.  Students were able to differentiate between 2D and 3D shapes. Topic- Shape Sorting Activity Activities- Students were involved in various activities like identifying the shape and Sorting activity and enhanced their learning about the shapes. By doing this activity, children can get enrich geometrical knowledge and they also learnt the difference between the sphere and circle objects.



“When in doubt, skate it out ” Learning Objectives:- • Students were able to make up the synchronized movement of the legs. • Students were able to Improved balance, coordination and weight management. Topic- Skating Activities - Students were taken to the skating class. They learnt balancing on both the legs. They had a skating race wherein they showed their best abilities to balance and coordinate. They thoroughly enjoyed and had a great fun with their skates on.



“Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn. ” Learning Outcomes:- • Students were able to innovate the importance of various objects placed in the activity room. • Students were able to construct different structures placed. Topic – Activity lesson Activities - Activities- Students were taken to the activity room to explore around. They enjoyed playing in the train and had a great time sliding down the slides and various other swings. They had a great time exploring out playing with blocks, beads, fruits and vegetable cutouts and many more.



“Our work is the presentation of our capabilities ” Learning Outcomes:- • Helps in improving speaking skills. • Prepares the child for better future. • Reinforces the child confidence and promotes Personal Development Topic – English and EVS HHW Presentation Activities - In the holiday homework presentation, students gave presentation on the festivals celebrated in the state of Haryana and Telangana. They were able to explain the festivals and culture of both the states and draw a comparison between them.
